3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 MrBunn (2006) - Western, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 31, 2009
Bottle. Pretty enough pour for a pilsner... clear gold, lively carbonation, big and fluffy white head. Aromas are a decent mix of grass, honey, bread and maybe a little bit of pepper. There are no big surprises in the flavor here. The stuff you smell is the stuff you taste. The only complaint that I would raise is that the sweet honey flavor seems to dominate a bit too much in the middle to late development across the palate. It doesn’t take over right away, but when it gets there it seems a little out of place and makes the beer come across as not quite crisp or refreshing enough.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 dagimp (416) - Philly, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 23, 2009
Meh. A very clean pour from a bottle with very little head. Nearly crystal clear with a yellow complexion. Much too sweet and not nearly enough hops for a pilsner. I expected more bite. It did drink very easily and I can tell it’s well made. However, it was to generic and macrobrew-like for me. i wouldn’t buy again.

Very pale clear gold pour with decent pillowy white head if poured right. Straw and grain and Saaz hops. Mild sweet malt. Not as crisp as I was hoping for.
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 emacgee (2844) - Carrboro, North Carolina, USA - DEC 20, 2008
Pours a very very pale translucent yellow with a thin whispy white head. The nose shows corn, hay, grassy hops, sweet bready malt, metallic hop character. The flavor was crisp with a spicy bitter hop character, sweet light malt backbone (and it is a backbone). Very hoppy on the flavor and palate.

Bottle. I really enjoyed this pils. Pale yellow golden with a small white head. Nice refreshing and crisp hops highlight this. Incredibly drinkable. Why is this rated so low? I dont get it at all.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Gregis (1250) - Shawnee, Kansas, USA - DEC 16, 2008
Bottle courtesy of theisti. Pours a light hazy yellow with lots of fine rising bubbles and a quickly diminishing white head that deposits a spiderweb of lace in its wake. The nose is of lightly doughy pilsner malt backed by bright grassy Noble hops. Light-bodied and creamy-slick with a mildly bitter-hopped finish. Very nice. One of the hoppiest pilseners that I have sampled, the flavor is of mildly sweet, clean pilsner malt and bright, grassy/earthy Saaz hops. This is a very refreshing, drinkable and enjoyable brew that finishes with enough bitterness to compel you to continue drinking. This is one of the few beers I have had recently that I could see myself going through a six pack in one sitting. Thanks a lot for the bottle, Tim. It is too bad we cannot get this one here in KC.
3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 jasonp (1556) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - DEC 6, 2008
Pours a classic pale yellow golden with white head. Aroma is pretty subdued with some grain, grass and noble hops. Nice pils flavor here. Malty pils base followed by notes of grain, grass, hay, lemon and herbal hop character. Satisfying pils-level of hop bitterness. Medium bodied with somewhat of a creamy texture and lively carbonation. Nice pils, just needs more in the aroma.
