COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The driest and most delicate of our lagers. Stoudt’s Pils is characteristic of the traditional European Pilseners. Straw-yellow and assertively hopped with Saaz hops, this frequent medal winner has a refreshing bitterness and refined hop aroma.

On tap at the brewery - Light amber color with white head. Not much aroma. The taste is crisp and clean with citrusy hops - then a nice grapefruit finish that was not bitter. A Very Nice beer.

UPDATED: AUG 23, 2008 Pours golden color with a very frothy white head. Malty notes and light bodied. After it settles, the slightest citrus notes emerge as well as grass and maybe a hint of pear and bread. I generally dig ales/hoppy brews, but this isn’t bad. Finishes very smooth.

Pours bright gold into a shaker. Fluffy bright white meringue head slowly recedes leaving spider lacing. Malt and hop aromas. Crisp and clean with full malt upfront and a lasting saaz finish.

Draught: light color with a slight hop aroma and something else I can’t put my finger on. Very thirst quenching with a corn-ish type note. Good for this hot Philly day after golf.

12 ounce bottle from csbosox. Pours clear straw yellow with a long lasting snow white head. The nose is dripping with hops with enough pilsner character coming through to keep things under control. Assertive sort of minty hop flavor. Very dry. Highly carbonated. This beer is very fresh. There’s really not a bot thing to say about this beer. Like csbosox, two years ago I probably would not have enjoyed this beer as much.

Bottle. Pours out a nice yellow color with a white head (Bud, are you listening? This one actually sticks to the glass the whole way down). Smell is nice with some fruity and floral flavors. Little bit of grass, some hops. Taste is smooth, lively carbonated, easy to drink, hoppy, and grassy. Very refreshing beer, very nice to drink - probably something I want to get again very soon. There arent many beers like this in my area, and I really wish there were. A very nice summer beer.

Bought a six pack in Key Largo. Served in a pils glass. The aroma is noble hops through and through and comes across as woody, floral, somewhat earthy and very pungent. There is a nice backing of pils malt reiminiscent of graham crackers. Brilliant light gold color, small bubbles and a smallish head. There is some lightly bready pils malt at the beginning but quickly it is overtaken with the herbal, floral hops which add a bracing bitterness that persists into the finish, but is tempered slightly by the malt backing. The finish is dry, bitter, with a lingering floral taste. This beer is both refreshing, easy to drink, and complex all at once. Quite possibly the best pilsener I have ever had certainly the best beer I have drank sitting around a Key Largo hotel pool while winding down after a pair of dives. To me, this would be a frequent summer beer if it was available in my area. The average score of this beer is a joke, but I must admit I would have scored this much lower just a year or two ago.

Strong grain and yeast aroma. Hazy yellow color with a large white head. Light flavor for the most part. Middle gets moderately more grain taste that fades in the finish.
