COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The driest and most delicate of our lagers. Stoudt’s Pils is characteristic of the traditional European Pilseners. Straw-yellow and assertively hopped with Saaz hops, this frequent medal winner has a refreshing bitterness and refined hop aroma.

Bottle. Pour is bright gold with a massive white head which leaves perfect sheet lacing and excellent retention. Aroma is lots of fresh bread, grassy hops. Flavor is very light, very grass heavy with a good amount of dough. Palate is creamy, average carbonation, light bodied, grassy bitter finish. Very good - this almost strikes me as an IPA with lager yeast.

Bottle from Beers of the World. Bright yellow-gold with a tal, fine head. Fragrant aroma of noble saaz: grassy, citrus, plus some light bready malts. Flavor is very hoppy, lemony, and very bitter. Light malts with a bit of bread, but the hops are leading the way. light, clean, crisp, and not too much sweetness. Works well in the Northern German style. Nice. Wildly bitter.

A good tasting German Pilsner. As with all Stoudts beers, well-balanced. A clean, crisp, refreshing brew. For the style, well done!

I quite enjoyed this.. Pours a light gold, medium foam .. . hot dogs are ready .. . light grain, light bitterness .. . a very simple beer but very good for an american pils .. . You can’t just pick and choose which laws to follow. Sure I’d like to tape a baseball game without the express written consent of major league baseball, but that’s just not the way it works.

Cloudy darkish for a plisner pour. Clean aroma, light European hops and malts on nose. Light body and no finish. Im so excited.

Tap. Clear gold hue with a pillowy white head with some bubbliness. Minerally and bready aroma and flavor, with some slightly crisp earthy hoppiness that does hit for the style. Breadiness dominates a bit too much for me, and I’m assuming that this was fresh...but perhaps not fresh enough. Medium to lighter body with soft carbonation. Solid, but can’t help but think that this should’ve been moreish....even for the style.

Sixtel from Statline didn’t last more than three days. Pour wasa clear straw with some light haze, plentiful pilsner like carbonation, thin to moderate head, sound lacing all the way down. The aroma was grains, saaz grassy hops, faint biscuits. Flavor followed with somer herbal and earthy notes in there too, touch of citrus. Mouthfeel was light and dry, crisp, very good lager-cleanness, refreshing, perfect for the Summer. I think I want another. Can’t believe I’ve never had this one before?

Bottle at home into pilsner glass. Aroma is biscuit, crackers, and dry hops. Medium bodied, biscuit malt flavors, long dry Saaz hop finish. Nice and crisp.
