COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The driest and most delicate of our lagers. Stoudt’s Pils is characteristic of the traditional European Pilseners. Straw-yellow and assertively hopped with Saaz hops, this frequent medal winner has a refreshing bitterness and refined hop aroma.

From notes 2009. Light golden-straw yellow body with a good sized white cap and fairly dense lacing. Light lemon and grass notes. Some baked bread. A tad more complex than the nose, the lemon citric hops are played off of the floral/grassy hop bitterness. Somewhat restrained. Again, some baked bread shines through. Light to medium bodied, with a clean finish and good amount of carbonation. Perhaps the weakest of the 4 big PA pils (victory, slyfox, troegs, stoudt’s)... but that really isn’t a knock on this beer. Its a solid all-around pils, not as hoppy as victory prima and slyfox pikeland, not as refreshing as troegs. A deserving beer for a nice warm summer weekend.

Pours a crystal clear pale yellow with a thick foamy white head. Aroma has straw and grass...mild soapiness. Flavor follows suit and amps up the grassiness...nice bitterness. Mouthfeel is light and the finish is dry and grassy/bitter.

Pale straw in color with a nice, foamy white head. Heavy bitter taste with a refreshing hoppy finish. Stoudts never disappoints.

Clean crisp and refreshing. Representative of this style. The brewery really knows how to throw down some classic German beer.

Clean, grassy aroma, and the beer pours a clear light yellow with a full white head. Slightly sweet taste to begin with, which is quickly tamed by the hop bitterness in the finish. A very light on the palate, and easy drinking beer, which works quite well in the summer.

Draft to pint at Dutch’s. Looks decent; a transparent gold with good carbonation and ample white head. Smells solid; doughy and mildly bitter. Tastes like it smells with a good pilsner snap and pleasant mouthfeel. A great example of the style.

Crisp, light, and very dry. Slightly bitter hoppiness. Very refreshing with a nice finish that fades quickly.

Bottle - Clear pale yellow pour with a huge foamy white head. Lightly spicy nose with a rustic graininess and very light floral hopping. Very delicate. Taste is a little more bland--grainy malt with a dry spiciness, herbal hopping that sits in the back of the mouth through the finish. Medium-bodied and full, with only a bit of carbonation.
