3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 picknbrew (186) - Mechanicsville, Virginia, USA - JUL 2, 2010
UPDATED: JUL 5, 2010 12 oz. bottle. Clear yellow with a foamy head. A little of the noble hops in the aroma. Good flavorful balance . Not as dry as I would expect in a pils but it doesn’t bother me. Full body doesn’t make it quite as refreshing as other pilsners but an enjoyable and palatable beer nevertheless.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 MPosey (130) - , Georgia, USA - JUN 24, 2010
Pours a wonderfully crystal clear blond with a foamy white head that fades quickly. Light malt and hop aromas. Initial malt and corn attack which fades to a light slightly hoppy and spicy finish.

Liberally hopped, but not the dry, bitter hops...the floral, aromatic hops. Lots of honey on the nose and in the taste, and a bit creamy - maybe a touch of malt. Great yellow color. Highly recommended.

Slightly different, but just as enjoyable as Victory’s Prima Pils. Pennsylvania may have the most annoying beer laws in the country, but their brewery’s German Pils products are unequaled. A very drinkable Pils with an extremely dry hoppy presence. Stoudt Pils has a bit more hop resin feel that sticks with you long afterward. Some may like that, others not so much, but this reviewer finds it to be as close to nirvana as one can get with a 4.7% session pils. Recommended

Draft @ Blind Tiger. Golden pour with white head. Sronger flavors than most pilsners, malts and wheat flavors. Hops are bitter and balancing
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Cakes (213) - New Bloomfield, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 7, 2010
12 oz. bottle.
A delightful beer. The "best looking" beer I might ever have experienced.
A beautiful yellow with a slight creamy, white head.
Some grassy note here.
A solid Pils, but my score is inflated by this wonderful beers appearance.

UPDATED: JAN 1, 2011 Thanks to djrn for sending this beer my way.
The beer pours a clear yellow color with a white head. The aroma is lemon, pilsner malt and grassy hops. The flavor is spicy hops with medium bitterness. There is a nice malt backbone and some citrus notes. The flavor is also slightly metallic. Soft mouthfeel and medium-high carbonation.

Bottle. Pours a golden yellow with white head. Got a very strawy taste to it, goes down very smooth and crisp. Some hops in it, but nothing overwhelming. Pretty good, and I’m not a huge fan of the style.
