psuCE03 (103), York, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 7, 2008 Nice hop aroma for this pale yellow pilsener. Smooth taste at first with a nice bitter end. Excellent and refreshing!
blklab2007 (498), Connecticut, USA Jul 13, 2008 bottle poured into a snifter has a light yellow golden color, hefty visible carbonation, and a one finger white foamy head. aroma has pilsner malt, corn sweetness, hefty hops for the style, and some grass. mouth feel is light with heavy carbonation. flavor has a nice combination of pilsner malt and hops, bitterness at the sides of the tongue, bites down nice with grains and grass. finish has a battle of sweetness that dries out and leaves a bitterness that lingers for a minute. very well done for the style and has enough hop interest while remaining a pilsner. jhumphries69 (495), Tyrone, Georgia, USA Jul 11, 2008 12oz bottle. Pours a light bright yellow with highlights of deeper gold and a thin, small-bubbled white head. The aroma is sweet with pilsner malt, light notes of honey and sweet corn, with a subtle hop aroma. The flavor is bready with a subtle sweetness and a firm bitterness. The finish is dry with a firm hop bitterness. The mouthfeel is tingly with a medium level of carbonation and has a medium-light body. Overall, a very decent German Pils with a strong clean pilsner malt character and a hop bitterness that manages to be firm while remaining shy of harsh. gsmitty80 (492), Charleston, South Carolina, USA Jul 9, 2008 I enjoyed this pilsner alot.
