Had this at the 2012 Great American Beer Fest in Denver, Colorado. Way too light and had practically no spice.

A nice light pumpkin, spicy aroma with a great orange color. The taste had just the right hint of pumpkin and had a long smooth finish.

Draft at Capone’s. Pours deep coppery with off-white head. Nose was pumpkin puree and spice, mild malt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Tasted as it smelled, with medium palate heft and complexity.

[Draft @ Iron Abbey] Amber with a medium sized, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of pumpkin, caramel malts, nuts, vanilla, toffee, toast, and light spices. Taste of toasted malts, pumpkin, nuts, toffee, and light spices in the finish.

On tap @ Stoudts. Clear amber with a small off white head. Light aroma of bread, caramel, pumpkin pie spices and a very faint pumpkin. Flavor is about the same, the Marzen flavors are more dominate than the pumpkin, which is a good thing IMO. Medium body with mild carbonation and a soft smooth mouth feel. Very nice blend of two different fall beers.

Draught at the brewery: Faint aroma of malts, spices, and nutmeg. Poured amber/light orange in color with a small, off-white head that lasted around the edges only. Clear. Very sparkling. Small lacing. Flavor is lightly sweet. Tastes of spices, cinnamon, allspice, nutmeg, and light pumpkin. Medium body. Average texture. Average carbonation. Spice, cinnamon and nutmeg finish.
