3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Nose is earthy and lightly vegetal/dank but not spicy at all, and I’d place a small bet that there’s some wheat in there, too. Some potentially interesting toffee. Pours orange with light reddish tint, slow avg carbonation and a dense but short off-white head. Taste mainly caramel/toffee with earth and light toasted grain, mild fruity background and very low citrus. Bitterness low, semi-dry, getting a good and enjoyable overall balance that really allows the woody caramel center to shine through. Honestly, I’m not picking up any spice at all, which is to say the spicing regime was properly done. Some malt depth and a rounded, playful malty mouthfeel, and a little extra nudge of bitterness in the aftertaste. Bravo!

2.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from Wegmans. Pours clear gold with minimal white head. The aroma has a slight spiciness but limited. The taste is light graham cracker, a touch of pumpkin, not awful.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a lightly hazy golden amber with a medium bubbly off white head. Aroma of toasted malt, noble hops, pie crust and a hint of pumpkin pie spices. Flavor of the same. Pie spices a touch more in the flavor.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Stoudts Pumpkinfest Lager has a dark honey color and nice but short lived foamy head. I detected nutmeg and cinnamon with just a hint of vanilla and pumpkin. It finishes crisp and dry.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Somewhere: I am surprised this has so few ratings considering that it was bottled. Anyway, it pours golden with white head. Aroma is very much that of a lager with a small helping of pumpkin spice. Taste is as expected from the aroma. Solid bready, lightly hopped lager, with a few accentuating spice notes. Generally well put together, but seemingly intentionally forgettable.

On draft at Pony. Pours a hazy golden color with mini white head. Aromas and flavor of toasted graham, vanilla, pumpkin guts, sweet malt, bannana clove and some nutmeg spice. Very refreshing and the flavor isn’t overwhelming. Nice pumpkin lager from Stoudts.
