3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Amber color. Smells of amber carmel. Color is brown amber, Tatse is hoppy and balanced. Not as hoppy as the bottle states, but a good decent APA.

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
From the looks of the other ratings, I must have gotten a bad bottle. This looked great with a clear amber body and a thin lacing head. The aroma reminded me of wet cardboard. The flavor had fish in it. And feet. Smelly feet.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: APR 12, 2012
Location: 12 oz bottle from Normís, 4/12/12
Aroma: The nose is heavy malty, with toffee, caramel, bread, and some citrus hops too
Appearance: This one pours a clear amber-orange color with a small white head and spotty lace
Flavor: Tastes more balanced with sweet malts (caramel, bread) and some hop bitterness (citrus, floral)
Palate: The body is light-medium, with a slight stickiness, a bit of slickness, and a somewhat dry finish
This re-rate from the bottled version (vs. draft) isnít going to change the score at all for me. I still found the flavor to be slightly better then the nose because of the increased hop presence, and I still found the beer to be fine, but unexceptional.
3.2 - 6/3/7/3/13
Location: Draft at Hop Devil, 12/3/11
Aroma: The nose has some earth, pine, caramel, floral notes, light booze
Appearance: This one pours a clear caramel-orange color, small head, light lace
Flavor: The taste here is decently balanced, with caramel, earth, and pine
Palate: The body is medium with a decent mouthfeel, but it came off a touch muddled
This beer was decent, but not a standout. I didnít hate it, but I was certainly left wanting a little bit more from this one.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear reddish with a dimpled off-white head. Aroma is sweet citrus, but mild. Nothing special in taste, even compared to their stock APA. Very drinkable, though. $2/12ozs

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Pours clear bright dark copper with a medium creamy/frothy tan head. Aromas of pine and citrus hops with some sweet caramel malt. The flavor is sweet initially, moving to bitter earthy and piney hops. Good.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: NOV 26, 2011 Very rounded feeling for an apa. Iíve noticed that about a lot of stoudts non German style beers. Nice hops mixed with a hefty dose of caramel and toasted Malts. A bit hopper version of their Scarlet Lady? Maybe not. But it did remind me of it. Quality beer and a good drinking one but wanted a bit more crispness.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz bottle severe in a pint glass. Poured a dark amber with red Hughs and two fingers of off white head that left a modest show of laceing. Nose was floral hops and heavy malts. Taste was hops light fruits with a little bitter and strange after taste in the finnish that i canít put my finger on. Not the best beer iíve had by stouts but pretty solid all around to say the least

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nutty aroma on this reddish brown brew. Sweet malt, nut, then bitter with a nice hop balance. A tasty offering indeed.
