Aroma is light and hints at floral hops and biscuity malts. Taste of caramel and a light bitterness. Soft on the palate with ample carbonation. Quiet, but enjoyable. EithCubes (2146), Indiana, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Jan 29, 2007 Bottle. Sweetish and dusty caramel nose with dark fruit, light orange, and malt. Clear amber body with a foamy, sticky tan head. Medium-bitter taste with mostly earthy caramel. Thin body, not quite watery, but not a ton of malt. Some chewy leafy notes. Medium-bitter aftertaste. Doesn’t strike my fancy. LinusStick (1831), Moon Twp, suburb of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Jan 27, 2007 Scarlet Lady should not have her nose up. This is a good ESB...not a great one. The pour was a orange/red with no head. The aroma was floral hoppy and not much else. The taste was a mild hoppiness with little to no malt to balance it out. While I liked this beer, I can tell Scarlett that I don’t give a damn. kimcgolf (828), Dacula, Georgia, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jan 19, 2007 Poured to a hazy orange-red, with mdium off-white head that lasted for a while and left okay lacing. Initial aroma was hoppy citrus (grapefruit) and floral. However, this dissipated and becme muted as the beer warmed. Flavor was likewise the hoppy floral, with a nice bitter palate, true to form. The dry, bitter finish was the best part of this beer for me. GG (1620), NorCal, California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Jan 12, 2007 Well, if you could give extra poits for being average, then this would rank really high. An aroma of sweet malts, subtle hops, and caramel. Flavors were malts, small hops with a slight carbonation being present. Not bad. Ungstrup (15099), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jan 11, 2007 A hazy amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma is very sweet with light notes of caramel and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of toffee and caramel, leading to a dry end with notes of nuts. nhorween (639), Chicago, Illinois, USA
