The pour is amber with a decent head but short lasting and little lacing. The flavor has some caramel sweetness with a moderate bittereness at the finish. 5000 (2409), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA

Soft sweet malt aroma, subtle graininess. Sweet grainy start, slight vegetable on the backside. Moderate body and mouthfeel, but nearing the thin side. Similar finish, soft malt presense, light sweetness, with that ever present vegetable. Ugh...   Thanks to my buddy danem for sharing!

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 11/20 | Apr 21, 2006 Clear amber. Tall, large bubbled, swiss cheese like cap. Virtually no aroma, very lightly sweet floral scent. Flavor of crisp, floral hops and sweet, lightly toasted malt. Easy drinking, balanced, medium body. Very drinkable, but nothing spectacular. redlight (1458), Winter Park, Florida, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Apr 19, 2006 Some fruit, malty, a little hop spice in the aroma. Pours a reddish amber with a thin white head. Light on the palate. I’ll say the flavor at first, left me wishing for a little more, but the about half way through the glass, I enjoyed the subtlness to the hops. Very nice ESB. | 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Apr 19, 2006 Mahogany body with a small off-white foamy head. Pine hops, caramel, toasted malts, spiced apples in the aroma. Thin and watery in the mouth. The flavor was decent. Notes of sweetness and bitterness as one drinks. This was nothing special. bubbleflubber (892), Collinsville, Virginia, USA

The pour has a diminishing head and looks clear dark umber. Solid hop bitter notes, wrapped inside of light fruit and caramel. Finish is nicely bitter and crisply dry-hopped. Good, solid brew here. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a ruby chestnut color with a small tan head. The aroma is fruity, sour and has a bit of nut and moderate fruity hops. The flavor is sour nut with a tangy and lightly fruity character and a dry hoppy finish. Tasty if a little uninspired. 00cobraR (1098), Greensboro, North Carolina, USA
