jstraw (750), Chicago, Illinois, USA Dec 10, 2008 Hazy amber with decent, beige head / Sour malt nose / Medium body, sour and malty, with fair, bitter finish / Flavors of cooked citrus fruit, malt, and dry hops / Average. decaturstevo (1971), decatur, Tennessee, USA Oct 15, 2008 A deep dark amber pour. A medium malt aroma that lacked a hops presence to some extent. Light roasted malt flavor with a light bitter. Light/medium bodied just a bit thin. Not what I expected. Lacked a bit of sweetness that I expected. gpekar (221), Maryland, USA Oct 15, 2008 Poured a dark amber golden color with a creamy, foamy light tan head that left good lacing throughout the glass. There was a mild roasted malt aroma. There was a nice & light malty sweet taste that led to a slightly dry finish. A good refreshing beer. porter4porter (32), Florida, USA Oct 9, 2008 Another good offering by Stoudts. Pours amber with a white head and nice floral hops with an earthy malt backing. Well balanced. I recommend a try. MaltDawg (778), Richmond, Virginia, USA Oct 6, 2008 Off Taps Capital Ale House - Downtown Slight malt aroma with floral hop notes. Clear amber golden with small frothy white head. Floral and grassy hop notes in flavor with moderate bitterness. Grainy toasty biscuit like malt notes and light fruitiness. Light body and mouthfeel. Clean dry bitter finish. Fruitfly (59), , Pennsylvania, USA Sep 30, 2008 Aroma of sweet and deep malt like fresh, moist earth. Very soft hop redolence only slightly offsets the carmely malts. The large bubbled head is patient. The lacing is tenacious. Carefully rounded but sweet flavor. Very relaxing. Beerman6686 (1266), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 30, 2008 Poured a reddish amber color with an off white head. Aroma was nice and malty, but balanced by the floral hops. Flavor was a lot more bitter from the hops than most esb’s but in a good way. This one is prety enjoyable. peter (385), Dallas, Texas, USA Sep 20, 2008 CASK- Great noble hop flavours. Quite floral with a decent body. Malts are present and well baanced.
