Just a excellent amber ESB, true to the style, but Stoudts always brews true to their styles, recommended.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a very nice amber/copper color with a light white head that dissipates quickly. Nice balance b/w the hops and malts. Tastes like a combination of caramel and coffee. Medium bodied, finishes a little on the hoppy side. Not bad.

I was not impressed with this beer. Stoudt’s make some good beers but this is not one. Very subtle malt aroma. The copper color is probably the best feature of the beer. The taste was very mild due to low carbonation, almost tasted flat, mild bitterness and sort of a hoppy finish

(Bottle). Very nice and drinkable. Malty aroma. Copper color with small off white head. Relatively mild flavor, but with some malt sweetness and a slight hops bite.

Bottle - Light red ruby hew small off white head. Sweet malt aroma with a hops tinge. There is a dryness in the body though mild. Some slight hop bitterness in the finish but a good beer. Not sure if I would push my luck with more than a couple of these, drinkable.

Bottle, best by 9/15/2008. Pours a clear brown/amber, with a thick light tan head. Aroma of toasted malt and sweet fruity jam. Flavor of toasty toast with a sweet malty finish. Classic ESB, very tasty. Quite enjoyable and super drinkable.

Bottle, best by 9/15/08. Aroma of toasted/slightly charred malt, some grass. Flavor light bitter, light sweet, graininess, well done. Light bodied, bordering on thin. Ok.
