Pours a very nice amber/copper color with a light white head that dissipates quickly. Nice balance b/w the hops and malts. Tastes like a combination of caramel and coffee. Medium bodied, finishes a little on the hoppy side. Not bad. Dandman629 (28), Ashburn, Virginia, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Aug 27, 2008 I was not impressed with this beer. Stoudt’s make some good beers but this is not one. Very subtle malt aroma. The copper color is probably the best feature of the beer. The taste was very mild due to low carbonation, almost tasted flat, mild bitterness and sort of a hoppy finish DrDavid (957), Johnson, Vermont, USA

Relatively mild flavor, but with some malt sweetness and a slight hops bite. djaquay (9), Ephrata, Pennsylvania, USA does not count | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 9, 2008 bottle, poured cold; dark red/orange w/tan head; light carbonation, smooth mouth feel; nicely bitter, some citrus; very little lace TheCaptain (549), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 3, 2008 Bottle - Light red ruby hew small off white head. Sweet malt aroma with a hops tinge. There is a dryness in the body though mild. Some slight hop bitterness in the finish but a good beer. Not sure if I would push my luck with more than a couple of these, drinkable.
