Oct 6, 2007 12 fl oz bottle. Pours amber/hazy orane with a lacing white head. Caramel malty and hoppy aroma: spiced and fruity at once. Hoppy spiced with mild malt base. Somewhat bitter into the finish with a bit of fruityness. Almost light bodied.

Sep 15, 2007 Bright golden-amber colour. Caramelly, earthy nose. Earthy and sweet, with lots of caramel and a hint of nuttiness. Fairly nondescript, disappointing for my first Stoudts in a long while.

Nov 29, 2005 Poured a deeper amberish color with an averaged sized off white head. Lots of little floaters. Aromas of caramel, toffee, toasted malts and some oranges. Tastes of caramel, toasted malts, nuts and lighter oranges. Has a nice balance to it althought the body was a little on the thin side.

Sep 21, 2003 Clear, deep, golden ale. Small, fizzy, off-white head.
The nose is bisquity and floral with light perfume and butterscotch notes.
Nicely-bittered, but balanced well. Light malt with citrus fruit and dry, wild grasses.
Light-bodied with a fizzy mouthfeel. Short, crisp, dry finish.
