Thats like three years ago. If nothing else, this can be used as a marinade. Popping the cap...iyeailds not that pleasing of a scent. Nice enough pour, slow growing head and copper body. The pour-opened aroma is a soft banana and yeast, somehwat oxidized. Flavor is really not that bad for its age. The beer is somewhat subdues from the careless aging, but there still is some well rounded malt hinding back there. Sadly, this gets a bit sour rather quickly. Palate has suffered a good deal as well. Over all I would give this older version somewhere a 3.1, so a 3.3.6 rating seems reasonable for it. Dorwart (1832), Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA

Initial aroma of black cherry? Hops present also. Excellent orange/red color. Bitter taste that is seems slightly off to me. Maybe a little to flowery. Mild bitter finish with a strangely floral aftertaste that lingers a little to long. A different and good brew but I don’t think that I would want to drink it all the time SDalkoholic (1198), Chula Vista, California, USA

The pour has a diminishing head and looks clear dark umber. Solid hop bitter notes, wrapped inside of light fruit and caramel. Finish is nicely bitter and crisply dry-hopped. Good, solid brew here. The flavor is well balanced, with light herbal and floral hops. Nice enough. Barrios (926), Nashville, Tennessee, USA
