COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A strong, full-bodied Belgian Abbey-style beer. The traditional yeast strain that is used imparts a rich array of spicy and fruit-like flavors. The prominent clove and melon notes are complemented by the sweetness and alcoholic warmth of the beer. The appealing color of glowing orange makes this brew irresistible.

Draft. Pours hazy gold with thin, creamy off-white head; short retention and minimal lacing. Aroma is bread malt, grassy hops, spice, and yeast. Flavor is heavy bread malt and yeast, light fruit esters, and faint grassy hops; sweet finish. Full body with medium carbonation and warmth.

Great smooth and bold beer. It has great abundance of spicy and fruit flavors that balance it beautifully. It’s not too much of any flavor, just the right blend of sweetness to bitter.

Bottle courtesy of my sister. Clear golden hue capped by a small foamy head with almost no retention. Light citrus, grass, and dull earthiness in the nose. Taste is big cracker sweetness, clove, and flowers. Big full body, light carbonation to assist. A good solid beer. Rated via BeerBuddy

12oz bottle in a Trappist glass. Pours copper with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of spicy yeast, some caramel malts, a little light fruit, plus light hops. Flavor the same, a little sweet. Average texture. A decent beer.

Pours a clear honey color with a medium white head. Aroma has mild ctrus, subtle spice, and a champagney note. Flavor follows suit with a bit of sweetness and some fruity, yeasty esthers...a touch leathery. Mouthfeel is silky and the finish is dry and spicy. Better than expected!

Bottle. Pours pale orange with light particulate matter and a short lived white head. Nose is small, hops backed by malt and spice. Light/medium body, full but unoffensive carbonation, cereal sweetness contrasts hop bitter. Heady fruit flavors with characteristic spice and grain brought forward by the alcohol content. I found it drinkable and distinguished, although lingering bitter aftertaste is my one complaint.
