Commercial Description:
A strong, full-bodied Belgian Abbey-style beer. The traditional yeast strain that is used imparts a rich array of spicy and fruit-like flavors. The prominent clove and melon notes are complemented by the sweetness and alcoholic warmth of the beer. The appealing color of glowing orange makes this brew irresistible.

Poured a cloudy amber color with a little bit of white head resting at the top. The head didn’t last all that long, but a thin layer of lace was left behind on the glass. Smells a bit fruity and hoppy and an underlying bananna scent. The taste is much the same, the bananna flavor and the hops... Tastes a little wheaty as well. The carbonation level seemed adequate, a nice full body in the mouth. The over all palatial experience was excellent. I wouldn’t mind drinking this one down more regularly. Serving type: bottle

Thanks to DIM for this one 2007 Bottle poured into a Duvel glass white fluffy head turns to thick lace on top of an apricot body Aromas of bananas and spices very typical in nose for a triple Flavors are a bit overwhelmed by the banana (Yeast) you get some spiciness to it but it could be more pronounced Mouthfeel is spot on for the style but it could use a bit more carbonation for my taste This is a good American try at a triple. I think the brew still need to be tweaked a little, to be up to the other awesome brews I have had from Stoudt’s

Hazy dark gold body with a lightly off white head. The aroma is like heated peach cobbler with some nice cinnamon and biscuits. There is also some clean laundry soap. The taste has some dry notes of cinnamon and banana peels. A little bit of nasty plastic. An ok beer, but the strange finish throws of fthe whole thing.

Not a bad Abbey Tripel. It was a little too bitter, too much yeasty flavor. Pours a golden color with moderate head. The flavor grew on me but nothing too great. But for 9%, who can complain. Worth Trying.

Pours a fairly cloudy orange with a small white head. Smells of some musty citrus fruit, a little candy sugar and spice. Nothing too inviting. Flavor is pretty rich and syrupy, with a pretty heavy and noticeable dose of alcohol attacking right up front and not letting up. Get some sharp bitter orange citrus fruit and syrupy sugars. A little too bitter for a tripel for me, and seemingly a bit overdone. Not a style I usually get excited about in the first place, but this beer was disappointing.

Pours a clearish golden with a white head. Very sweet with bitterness kicking in half-way through. Hint of citrus. Bready. High carbonation.

NIce banana aroma, not strong. Cloudy amber, floaties, no head. Orange, lemon, and clove flavor. Great cilantro finish. Medium body, slightly phenolic, well balanced.

12 ounce bottle- pours a golden orange color with a moderate and long lasting head. Aroma was citrus and fruit. Taste was a suprisingly sweet fruit blend with apples and cherries in the fore. A touch thin bodied, but all-in-all a good solid brew.
