COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A strong, full-bodied Belgian Abbey-style beer. The traditional yeast strain that is used imparts a rich array of spicy and fruit-like flavors. The prominent clove and melon notes are complemented by the sweetness and alcoholic warmth of the beer. The appealing color of glowing orange makes this brew irresistible.

Dirty gold pour with thin white head. Belgian yeast, bread, pear, apple and spices. Sweet and creamy palate with good hop flavor. Very good beer.

12-oz. Thanks, Laura! Murky bright gold. Creamy medium gray film atop. Big green apply nose. Fizzy body on the high side of medium. Green apples and lightly sour malt on the mid-palate. Mildly fruity finish.

Poured a hazy golden yellow with a thin off-white head that went to a film rather quickly. There was a light amount of carbonation bubbles seen rising in the glass. The aroma was a very mild sweetness with some alcohol scent as well. There was a creamy texture to the beer with a light amount of sweetness and a good bit of alcohol coming through and a bit of a tartness. There was a mild hop bite on the finish. This was just ok.

Pours clear gold into a trappist glass. Bright white head recedes to hug rim leaving no lacing. Belgian yeast and cookie aromas. Crisp with upfront sweet caramel turning to pepper and spice in the middle and a burning alcohol and hop finish. One of the better US takes on a tripel.

this is the first stoudt’s i can remember having... i think i ordered one at a bar once but... you know. well, i bought this for the label which is how i end up with most of the beers i try. this is a tasty ale and i think the "medium-bodied" description fits the bottle i tried, just right. some spicy taste here and there, and overall it was an enjoyable brew. will definitely explore more of the stoudt’s.

12 ounce bottle from Beer Run in Charlottesville, VA. Pours a hazy orange color with a medium head. Average head retention and lacing. Grainy aroma with some peach like fruit notes. Taste is bread, citrus, yeast and mild hops. Medium bodied.

The aroma seems to get stronger to me as I continue to smell it. This is kind of fruity. A bit coating in the finish. Okay.

Poured cloudy golden with a small head for a Belgian triple. Nice citrus aroma with a bit of spice. Nice beer, but not as good as true Belgian triple.
