Commercial Description:
A strong, full-bodied Belgian Abbey-style beer. The traditional yeast strain that is used imparts a rich array of spicy and fruit-like flavors. The prominent clove and melon notes are complemented by the sweetness and alcoholic warmth of the beer. The appealing color of glowing orange makes this brew irresistible.

Pours a slight clouded gold. Nose is extremely doughy. Flavor is heavy with dough. There is the sweet tone as well that is not really overly strong. It is bit boisterous and bright, but it is very even and never changes as it progresses. Feel is thick and doughy on the tongue. Overall a pretty good example of a tripel I say. Especially for an American producer.

750 ml. bottle - Pours an orangish golden in color, with a huge fluffy head. This brew starts out extremely malty and sweet almost cloying. Some of the spice starts to make an appearance toward the middle and finish. Overall, not a bad tripel, but not my favorite.

Pale to Cloudy Amber Color with White Skin. Cloves, Spices, Fruit and a Magic Marker Alcohol Aroma. Medium Bodied. Smooth, Sweet and Dry Mouthfeel. Alot of Fruit and Spices Notes Througout, Cloves Dominating the Flavor Profile,...with Yeasty Breadiness and a Solid Warming Througout. Dry, Sweet Spice Burning on the Aftertaste. Nice Offering.

Nice spicy aroma. We can taste the spices cereals, but the Alcohol is killing most of the flavors of the beer.

Quite a nice triple. Delicate aroma, floral and spicy. color is golden yellow and pours with a nice head, that holds for a while, but does dissipate. flavor has some alcoholic warmth and is rather dry. some nice spiciness. quite a drinkable, medium palate.

Full-bodied and tasty; solid well made addition to the style; vanilla flavored and robust! Very nice.

These american abbey tripel imitations really make the Abbey Tripel style quite common. The abbey tripels come in two types; the in your face and the refined gentle. This one is the in your face. Cannot hold a candle to Grimbergen Blonde or Chimay White. From a growler that was filled at the Beer Store in Moon. Sweet strong ale aroma, big foamy head. Initial palate is flat, no carbonation. Very alcoholic. A little rude and unrefined. Color is off yellow and I think I can see some haze. If not, I’ll see some haze after this growler is gone. Finish is lingering volatile alcohol. Sometimes I think many american tripels should be reclassified as malt liquor.
