Sep 8, 2006 [011-20060827] 355mL. Light citrus and bready wafts, alcohol too. Golden-retriever-brown body, big bubbles, small head gone quickly. Spicy flavours, maybe nutmeg, with a lasting finish and a nice aftertaste. Tangy, boozy palate.

Sep 6, 2006 Dark golden in color. Nice head with decent lasting lace. There is no way in @#$% I describe the nose. The taste is of sweet malt, spices, honey, alcohol with hops at the end. A pretty amazing beer. Better on tap than in the bottle. Then again, I live about five miles away from the brewery/pub, so I’m spoiled!

Aug 26, 2006 Cloudy orange with a small white head that vanishes, leaving almost no lacing. Sweet spicey nose. Complex and intense taste ... toffee and honey, cloves and spice, yeast and sweet fruit. Slightly metalic finish. Decent American tripel, and my favorite from Stoudt so far.

Aug 23, 2006 Pours a cloudy amber with an off white head. Aroma is spicey, fruity, and alcohol. Flavor is full bodied with a nice sweet and alcoholic quality with a bit of spiciness and hops.

Aug 18, 2006 Bottle: Nice cloudy orange-rust color with wisps of yeast fluttering about and a cream-foam head. This has a big spicy, yeasty nose. Likewise the flavor of this beer is BIG ... robust warming alcohol-based body with a spicy flourish ... clove, pumpkin. Intense. This is like an "Imperial Tripel" if there were such a thing. Quite delicious.

Aug 10, 2006 pours a light orange. medium carbonation. The aroma is pretty fruity, get apples/pears, tart lemon, and spices. Taste is estery apples, it has a full rich body across the palate with tart citrus flavors and alot of spices, especially clove and black pepper.

Aug 5, 2006 Pours with a white head and lace. Has slightly fruity aromas that remind me of apple that come off of the beer. Smooth taste and finish. Quite a good beer.

Jul 31, 2006 Updated: Jan 6, 2007Pours to a nice golden-caramel color. Sweet, multi-fruit smell. Pleasant melon-grape-apple taste that finishes well. Leaves a pleasant summer fruit taste in your mouth. Not outstanding, but a good offering from Stoudts.
