Commercial Description:
A strong, full-bodied Belgian Abbey-style beer. The traditional yeast strain that is used imparts a rich array of spicy and fruit-like flavors. The prominent clove and melon notes are complemented by the sweetness and alcoholic warmth of the beer. The appealing color of glowing orange makes this brew irresistible.

Deep cloudy orangish red pour with a mid sized head. Lots of yeasty malty fruity goodness in the nose, possibly slightly spicy as well. Flavor was big and mouthfeel was full and thick. Spice, alcohol and sweet fruits dominate. Nice but the alcohol may have been hidden just a little better.

Not my favorite. I like the Weyerbacher Belium Ale much better than this. Plus the guys on the label look like Billy Crystal in The Princess Bride Movie.

Hazy off-yellow pour with medium frothy head offers a nose of sweet banana, wheat, and clove notes with a strong yeast presence. Mouthfeel is medium heavy with light carbonation. Flavor is layered with more of the malt sweetness, a strong bubblegum quality, and revolving tones of yeast. Very nice in depth and enjoyability. Stoudts does Euro-styles very well and this Tripel is a convincing example.

Bottled, purchased at the brewery. Pours tawny, with a light tan head. Fruity, alcohol-tinged notes in the aroma. Cloves, yeast, and fruit in the taste, with a warm, alcohol finish. Mouthfeel is firm, but not thick. An excellent Tripel from a fine brewer.

Yeast and fruity aroma. Red/orange color with a thumb thick tan head. Fore is alcohol, yeast bannana and fruit compote. Finish is spicy with more bannana notes. Pretty decentAmerican rendetion of a Belgian in flavor, palate and feel.

12oz bottle poured a golden orange with a very small off-white head. Aroma was of honey, yeast, spices (mainly a clove scent), and a bit of banana. Flavor was quite enjoyable almost like some type of melon (sweetness) and a nice warming alcohol all flavor.

Wow! Never ever has a brew explode in my mouth on the first taste . Wait a minute, that sounds gay. But i don’t care, this beer is that good. Enjoy another solid effort from a Pennsylvania brewery!
