Commercial Description:
A strong, full-bodied Belgian Abbey-style beer. The traditional yeast strain that is used imparts a rich array of spicy and fruit-like flavors. The prominent clove and melon notes are complemented by the sweetness and alcoholic warmth of the beer. The appealing color of glowing orange makes this brew irresistible.

There is a lot of sweet and grassy flavors in this beer. The yeast is also very noticible in the flavor. This isn’t too bad of a triple.

Tap. Clear, darker amber with hardly any head. Mixed fruits on the nose. Very thick, and mouth coating on the palate with fruit and spice. Malty and luscious not really noticing the 9% alcohol.

This Abbey Triple pours a slightly hazy amber orange color from a 12 oz bottle. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is fruity (peaches and oranges), lightly bready with some pepper. A medium bodied triple. Malts are fruity peaches, apricots and pineapples. Some floral hops as well. Yeasty and a little cobwebby. Very sweet tasting triple. A little light in the carbonation which probably accounts for the alcohol bite, which is considerable. The alcohol bite of the sweetness really does not detract from the taste. Nice solid non-Belgian tasting triple. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet with a big alcohol bite.

An unclear orange beer with a small greyish head. A bit harsh in the aroma with notes of hay, yeast and orange. Quite sweet and fruity and somewhat artificial. Sweet syrupy and sugary fruity flavor, full and soft with a warming feeling.

Thanks to Santa FooFaa! A hazy medium-dark amber color with a small beige head. Very sweet with thick malts, spicy undertones, ginger. Sweet malts, yet a mineraly tang to it as well. Chewy feel, alcohol noticeable in the follow. I couldn’t drink much more than 1 bottle of this.

Via MullMan. The beer pours to a very murky amber body with noticeable particulate matter. An off-white head sits atop the beer. The aroma is yeasty and melons. The flavor is cloves, yeast, muskmellon, black pepper. Spicy and medium bodied. Eh... 6, 2, 6, 3, 12 = 2.9

Rerate: The beer has a nice glowing amber body with a white head. The aroma is like I remember. The flavor is a really spicy pepper, yeast. The palate is spicy, alcoholic, lots of carbonation. 6, 3, 7, 3, 13 = 3.2

Cloudy dark orange, almost brown pour, with a small white head. Definitely a whiff of the alcohol in the aroma, but get past that, there is some fruitiness, with some banana, yeast and I believe watermelon of all things. Creamy mouthfeel, and again with the booze, almost burning, some spicy pepperiness along with some more banana and some citrus. Pretty quick finish, more spicy than sweet, heavy on the yeast. Not as balanced as I would like, but a pretty solid tripel.

Definitely enjoyed this beer -- a bit sticky, but very full. Darker/amber color and has more body than a normal westmalle type tripel, but lacks the hoppish pop, I thought. On draught.
