COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A strong, full-bodied Belgian Abbey-style beer. The traditional yeast strain that is used imparts a rich array of spicy and fruit-like flavors. The prominent clove and melon notes are complemented by the sweetness and alcoholic warmth of the beer. The appealing color of glowing orange makes this brew irresistible.

Bottled, purchased at the brewery. Pours tawny, with a light tan head. Fruity, alcohol-tinged notes in the aroma. Cloves, yeast, and fruit in the taste, with a warm, alcohol finish. Mouthfeel is firm, but not thick. An excellent Tripel from a fine brewer.

Yeast and fruity aroma. Red/orange color with a thumb thick tan head. Fore is alcohol, yeast bannana and fruit compote. Finish is spicy with more bannana notes. Pretty decentAmerican rendetion of a Belgian in flavor, palate and feel.

12oz bottle poured a golden orange with a very small off-white head. Aroma was of honey, yeast, spices (mainly a clove scent), and a bit of banana. Flavor was quite enjoyable almost like some type of melon (sweetness) and a nice warming alcohol all flavor.

UPDATED: JUL 26, 2006 Wow! Never ever has a brew explode in my mouth on the first taste . Wait a minute, that sounds gay. But i don’t care, this beer is that good. Enjoy another solid effort from a Pennsylvania brewery!

Pours murky orange brown with a thin beige head. Caramel malt, bread, yeast, banana, and dark fruits in aroma. Lots of the same in flavor; also with candi sugar and heavy alcohol warmth (a bit too much). Lots of malt body. Thick. Other than dominant alcohol in flavor, very nice.

Bottle. Fiery orange pour with a ring of off-white headage. Nose was spicy with plenty of clove, melon, and alcohol. Quite sweet in the flavor department with lighter fruits... again with the whole buncha spices and alcohol. Palate was somewhat grainy, and the alcohol astringency was a tad high on the back end. Melon and clove flavors in the warming finish. Not bad, but didn’t do it for me.

Pours amber with an off white head. Smells of bananas and yogurt. Tastes of cinnamon, cloves, some ginger and citrus. Some overripe peaches on the finish. Mouthfeel is very full.

Bottle courtesy of jjpm74, Thanks John! Poured a hazy dark amber with a tan head that dissipated to a ring. Great smells of dark fruit, spices (cinnamon and cloves), floral, and caramel. The flavor followed the same with fruit, floral, and spices standing out. Fruits in the aftertaste. Full body that was smooth and warming. Very Enjoyable!
