Commercial Description:
A strong, full-bodied Belgian Abbey-style beer. The traditional yeast strain that is used imparts a rich array of spicy and fruit-like flavors. The prominent clove and melon notes are complemented by the sweetness and alcoholic warmth of the beer. The appealing color of glowing orange makes this brew irresistible.

12oz bottle from the Brass Tap in Wesley Chapel, FL. Pours a cloudy yellow-orange with a thin white head. Aroma is citrus, cocoa, and florals. Flavor is alot of sour orange peel...Med. mouthfeel...This is pretty solid beer.

Pretty good triple. Nice aromas and flavors that are typical for a Belgium style triple. Overall a nice beer.

Bottle - Pours a hazy orangish amber in color with a small white head that fades to a very thin covering over the beer. No lacing. Aroma is strong of Belgian yeast, spices (cloves, nutmeg) and a light fruitiness. Flavor is very fruity... apples, melon... and slightly sweet. Alcohol is apparent, but muted by the intense fruity flavors and maltiness. Finish is slightly bitter and lingering. I am impressed... a quite decent tripel. This is the first of Stoudt’s for me and I look forward to more from this brewer.

Pours a yellow-gold with a one finger white head. Aroma is yeast, spices, some apple. Taste is lots of spice up front, with a sour fruit finish.

12-oz. Thanks, Laura! Murky bright gold. Creamy medium gray film atop. Big green apply nose. Fizzy body on the high side of medium. Green apples and lightly sour malt on the mid-palate. Mildly fruity finish.

Poured a hazy golden yellow with a thin off-white head that went to a film rather quickly. There was a light amount of carbonation bubbles seen rising in the glass. The aroma was a very mild sweetness with some alcohol scent as well. There was a creamy texture to the beer with a light amount of sweetness and a good bit of alcohol coming through and a bit of a tartness. There was a mild hop bite on the finish. This was just ok.

Pours clear gold into a trappist glass. Bright white head recedes to hug rim leaving no lacing. Belgian yeast and cookie aromas. Crisp with upfront sweet caramel turning to pepper and spice in the middle and a burning alcohol and hop finish. One of the better US takes on a tripel.
