Commercial Description:
A strong, full-bodied Belgian Abbey-style beer. The traditional yeast strain that is used imparts a rich array of spicy and fruit-like flavors. The prominent clove and melon notes are complemented by the sweetness and alcoholic warmth of the beer. The appealing color of glowing orange makes this brew irresistible.

Poured from a 12 oz bottle. The fruits definitely hit home and it strikes me as a little immature. I enjoyed this one but gonna cellar a couple and see what happens in 12 months or so.

i have to say ive never really liked anything thats come out of Stoudts. this one looks beautiful-cloudly amber with a thick head. but the alchol wollop drowns out any flavors. its sour without any real balance. bitter on the palette. no real spice to speak of. ill pass on yet another from this brewery.

sweet and creamy. lots of candi sugar in the smell. creamy mouthfeel with high finishing gravity. slight fusels with phenolics. not enough carbonation. like most poor trippels on the market, this beet is not well attenuated.

Pours a hazy with a thin cream colored head and nice small carbonation. Smells quite yeasty with a background of bananas. Quite smooth and thick with a warming finish with slight malt notes.

Pours hazy yellow orange with off white head. Aromas of bananas, dough and spices. Sweet flavor with spices and yeast. Medium body with average carbonation and a creamy mouthfeel. Not bad, but there are so many better triples easily available.

Tasting at Backus’ Backyard Bash. Hazy orange pour. Caramel brown sugar sweet malt aroma. Taste is malty, slightly thin and candy sugar sweet. Sweet tangy end to it. I thought it was a little too sweet, but still solid.
