Aromas of bananas, dough and spices. Sweet flavor with spices and yeast. Medium body with average carbonation and a creamy mouthfeel. Not bad, but there are so many better triples easily available. dchmela (1411), Orlando, Florida, USA Oct 27, 2008 Tasting at Backus’ Backyard Bash. Hazy orange pour. Caramel brown sugar sweet malt aroma. Taste is malty, slightly thin and candy sugar sweet. Sweet tangy end to it. I thought it was a little too sweet, but still solid. DrDavid (957), Johnson, Vermont, USA Oct 24, 2008 (Bottle). Fruity aroma, alcohol. Hazy orange body with lots of suspensions, small white head. Flavor is spicy and fruity, noticeable alcohol in the finish. Potent. Taste blend is not as pleasing or complex as, say, Chimay. BeerVirgin72 (778), Pataskala, Ohio, USA Oct 22, 2008 Bottle courtesy of the Merrit Island tasting hosted by mcbackus. Poured a hazy shated of orange. Aroma was spiced pears. Flavor was sweet up front, honey and fruits, followed by a bit of hops on the end. I love Belgians.
