COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A strong, full-bodied Belgian Abbey-style beer. The traditional yeast strain that is used imparts a rich array of spicy and fruit-like flavors. The prominent clove and melon notes are complemented by the sweetness and alcoholic warmth of the beer. The appealing color of glowing orange makes this brew irresistible.

Wheaty flavor to this triple - not sure that I like. A lower carbonation for a triple then I am use to. Spicy yet watery finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle revisited since I didn’t rate this in the past. Pours a hazy orange amber color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma and flavor have sweet malts, ample fruity character, pear, some citrus, spices, with some alcohol heat. Decent enough.

From BA review on 1-29-12 - Had on tap served in tulip shaped glass Appearance – Pours a haze orange/golden color with a nice white head. The head fades slowly giving away to the very slightest bit of lacing. Smell – Yeasty and sweet are the first detected; yeast cake and sweet fruits of orange and a bit of tropical mango and some banana are present. Then a bit of bready maltiness works its way through the aroma, with the whole aroma rounded out by a light alcohol/boozy aroma. Taste – The taste is very similar to the smell only in a different order. As opposed to the aroma, the first taste detected was a bit more breadiness with some biscuit flavor. The yeasty flavor, present throughout, stays while the bread flavor fades giving way to a sweeter taste profile of mango, orange and banana. Like the smell however the whole taste experience finishes with a nice mild alcohol flavor rounding it all out. Mouthfeel – A nice creamy body with a good level of carbonation. A good slow drinking/sipping beer; perfectly matched to its alcohol content. Overall – While not the best Belgian triple I have ever had, very enjoyable none the less. Nothing stands out, but nothing brings it down; overall moderately balanced.

Not overly impressed with this one, head was on the weak side, light aroma and taste. I compare all tripels to Karmaliet, so it’s in some tough company. Decent but not outstanding.

Golden yellow-orange with small white head. Aroma yeast, citrus, malt. Medium full body, lightly carbonated, minimal alcohol. Flavor yeasty bread, grass, faint orange/lemon. Not sure this is the best example of a tripel but as a beer works pretty well anyway.

Bottle from craft ale house. Pours clear orange with a medium sized white head that dissipates rather quickly. The aroma has banana, bready notes. The taste is fairly dry, banana, clove.

Bottle. Poured a clear golden orange color with a small slightly foamy white head. Aroma is nice light hops, some malts, and alcohol with some sweet sugar character here. Flavor was alcohol, booze, sweet cereal notes - yeast. Enjoyable.

Bottle from my friend Gail. Thanks!! 12oz bottle poured into my tulip. Nice hazy golden light brown pour. One finger fizzy head. Some lacing throughout. Aroma of Belgian yeasts, bread, cereal, spices such as cloves and fruits. Taste is similar. You get the Belgian style yeasts, cloves, some light fruits, cereal and bread basket. A rather dry, bitter finish of hops. Lingering tingle on the tongue. Refreshing. Medium light body, medium heavy carbonation. Overall a very nice triple.
