(750ml, vintage date 4/3/03) Chunky, murky amber body topped by big off-white head. Aroma is mildly sweet, bready, light orange peel. Taste is rich, medium sweet, raisin, bread, clove, orange peel, with alcohol notes. Medium-full body.

12oz bottle-pours a white head and cloudy dark gold color with effervescence. Aroma is candy sugar, medium fruit, medium malt-sweet. Taste is lots of candy sugar, medium fruit, medium malt, alcohol. OK/mild carbonation.

Bottle from Half Time. Pours orange gold with a foamy white head. Aromas of peach fruit and mildly peppery spice. Medium body with mild carbonation. Flavor is peach, something phenolic, and some "mildly pepper spice". Finishes more dry than not, and the carbolicity stands in for bitter. Actually seems to move towards bitter. Rather light given the 9%. Drinks nicely.

Bottled: Orange coloured. Murky. Beige dense head. Orangy, sweet and spiced aroma. Flavour ispiced sweet and fruity. Ends on a dry spiced and fruity note.
