| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 3, 2005 Plenty of fruity/spicy esters, a lot of yeast, but surprisingly low carbonation. Nice head and lacing--crisp, lasting white on top of a murky body. Didn’t drink like 9%. Flavors are a bit muddled with all the yeast in the mouth. Plenty of fruit and sweetness, dryish finish and aftertaste. atpayne (615), Zionsville, Indiana, USA

Orangish tan and very cloudy with a creamy white long lasting head. Aroma is yeast, wheat, citrus. Smells like a standard triple. The flavor is trong... spiced and a mild alcohol takes up resicence. For moments there are bubble gum hints. The finish is smooth and warm and the tangy alcohol sits on the tongue. Eructoblaster (1510), Gatineau, Quebec, Canada

Aroma and taste are rather hoppy. It carries nice fruity and yeasty notes. Ends with a good bittersweet finish. Well balanced. biznizness (959), Mooresville, North Carolina, USA

In the PA tripel race, not as good as the Golden Monkey but better than Merry Monks. What’s with the barnyard stuff? Don’t get it. hopdog (5631), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | Jan 13, 2005 Mild malty aroma, little bit of yeast scent as well. Looks darker than other triples, almost a cinnamon color, with decent white head. Flavor has a nice spicy tang, with fruity undertones. The alcohol is only barely noticable at the tail end. Body is medium and there is the standard bitterness on the tail, and it kind of lingers in your mouth after you swallow. Ray1975 (251), Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, USA
