Commercial Description:
Stout Brothers flagship ale. This cream ale embodies Yankee ingenuity - a unique combination of German-inspired pre-prohibition lagers and early American premium lagers. New World ingredients and revolutionary brewing techniques create a lighter, easy-drinking ale.

I miss this brewery, and I miss this beer more. Very smooth and creamy, and a great session ale. They used to have AYCD for $10 during Monday Night Football. This was perfect for that.

Nitro - golden brown/apricot color. Quite nice. Heavy yeast and malt nose. Has the smooth nitro feel, which might be expected for the style. Strong yeast, malt, toffee flavors.

Amber/orange with a thick fluffy head. How does a combination of two lagers make an ale? LOL! Grassy and thin without much taste. Dry finish. Not much going on in this one.

Medium creamy off-white head topping clear amber body. Aroma is light grassy bitter. Taste is mild sweet, with light grassy/herbal bitter that begins a mid-tongue and remains through the swallow. Creamy light/medium body with pleasant accessible beer.

I’m liking the cream ales more and more lately. Creamy head, brownish blond color. Very smooth. Good session brew.
