33 cl. bottle @ home. Procured from Willems. Bottled on 03/2013. Ruby very dark brown with fizzing away beige head. Smell is very grainy, cocoa powder, grainy chocolate, roast & something off, metallic, liquorish, something fermenting spoiled,… Taste is bitter grainy chocolate, high carb, thin metallic, thick liquorish, old chocolate, huge sweet banana, overripe, touch metals, touch honey, light minerals in the back,… Grainy cocoa & too high carb. Ah, messed up stout.

Pours a dark brown beer with a huge rocky head. Smells malts and yeasts. Also bit metalic. Tastes very sweet, metalic and honey. Damn sweet. Average carbo, thin body and a watery texture.

2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
APPEARANCE: very dark brown, almost black beer. Somewhat of a gusher, huge unstable brown bubbly head.
NOSE: rather grainy, dark malts, rather sugary, liquorice.
TASTE: too much sugar, not that balanced, somewhat sour even (intended?). Again rather disappointed in this brewery... Though credit for getting quite some taste in a stout with only 5,5%!

3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle 0,33L. Dark, almost black beer with huge light brown head and lively or I could even say fizzy carbonation. Aroma of caramel, milk chocolate and nuts. Moderate sweet taste and aftertaste, but still acceptable for me (although I don’t like sweet beers). Carbonation is very strong in mouth, like drinking mineral water or cola with a lot CO2..

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
33cl sampled@B-home. - pours a promising opaque jet-brown with little head and rather watery MF and carbonation. Ominous sweet nose with distinct alcoholic tang for a stout of only 5.5ABV. Taste has some hop bitterness and light roast, but the caramel sugar and watery mouthfeel make this sub-par, and hard to take seriously as a stout.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Woohoo, just in time. After the cap is removed I was ready for the upcoming gusher, it poured black and brown an created a black beer with a big brown head that changes slowly into a fluffy big foamy island.
Aromas of metallic, some coffee with milk, (roasted) malts, french fries, grains and some floral tones.
Flavours of sweets like honey and brown sugars, some hints spices like bay leaf and a sprinkle of something clove/cinnamon a like, caramel, some bark, ligt roast, grass, light bitter, some cream and a sweet liquorice tone.
Aftertaste is a mix of sweet liquorice, brown sugars, some sweet roast and grassy grains.
Low carbo, soft mouthfeel, medium body and a light creamy texture.
Bit sweet, bit roast, bit stout, decent a would say, fits the style.
