A classic and refined Tripel. Subtle sweetness and a well integrated hop bitterness. Love the subtle hint of orange peel.

33cl bottle bought at the brewery. Pours clear, deep golden with a large, lasting head. Malty and somewhat fruity aroma with notes of Belgian yeast, honey, herbs and caramel. Medium sweet with balanced flavours and a fine bitterness. A bit lively carbonation, but tasty and fairly flavourful.

Bottle, 330ml. A clear amber beer with a big white foamy head and a lot of gas. It has a fruity aroma of pear, green apples and grapes and doughy yeast. Taste is bitter with a medium sweet finish. Medium bodied with moderate carbonation and some astringency. It has a somewhat herbal character. Well balanced and well brewed.

Bottle shared at home. Clear golden with very big white head. Sweet malts, light spices, herbs, quite some alcohol even though I’m drinking this quite cold. Cake, unripe fruits, red apple. Medium sweet malts with alcoholic and herbal bitterness. Over medium bodied with average carbonation. Nice beer, don’t get much yeast and the alcohol is quite present.

Erg fijne trippel. Ruikt goed. Niet teveel hop. Schenkt prachtig uit in een fris gespoeld glas en smaakt heel fris. Geen rare nasmaken. Geen gekke toevoegingen. Gewoon een heel erg goede trippel uit Brugge.

Bottle in the Pita Huis, Bruges with lunch. Lightish golden colour, thin white head. Nice full flavours, some nice grainy malts, lots of yeasty spice, perfumy hop. Hides the booze well. Decent bitter finish. Very tasty I thought, enjoyed this one!
