Interesante versión del estilo tripel. Cítricos, especias y cereal en nariz, con un cuerpo poderoso y un final de trago casi picante.

A bright golden color with a white head. A faint citrus and spice aroma. The flavor is somewhat tart with some lemons, oranges, and grassy notes. A bit of sweetness in the finish. Overall nice one.

UPDATED: MAR 17, 2016 Una tripel muy buena, pero para mi gusto no es la mejor. Tiene un buen sabor y bastante cuerpo.

Bottle. Cloudy gold body. White head that quickly dissipates. Wheat, cloves, red fruit, bread, orange peel. Sweet with some bitterness. Dry finish. Well carbonated. Good, a more contemporary interpretation of the Abbey Tripel style.

33cl bottle, served in trappist chalice. Poured a cloudy orange with a two finger white head that disappeared pretty quickly. Aromas of caramel, vanilla, banana, grapefruit. Taste: Pretty much a continuation of the aromas. Alcohol clearly present there. Spicy, fruity and sweet on the tongue and nice grassy, bitter, dry hop in the finish. Medium body. Overall a very nice tripel.

Deze tripel is mij net iets te bitter, waardoor het niet kan tippen aan de tripels van onder andere Chimay, Westmalle en met name Tripel Karmeliet. Desalniettemin een lekker bier.

F: big, lasting, a hint off-white. C: golden to amber, hazy. A: malt, honey, banana, green apples, caramel, grassy hops, yeast, dry fruits. T: malty, biscuits, toasty, lemon, grape-fruit, floral hoppy, honey, almond, full-bodied, good carbonated, well balanced sweet-bitter, very good one.

Hazy golden color. Has a strong yeasty aroma, lots of fruitiness, some apples and vanilla. Sweet candy smell from the hops, light caramel and biscuit. Very little hop aroma. Starts sweet and finishes minerally, almost metallic. Not as dry as most tripels. Has a present acidity. Some spicy phenols. Has a noticeable, but not overbearing hop bitterness. This lacks a bit of complexity for the style, but it very drinkable for 9%. Good beer.

Hazy amber golden color, creamy tan head. Belgian yeast nose, fruity esters, caramel malt. Sweet taste, malty, ripe fruit, Belgian yeast, hint of alcohol. Full body, average carbonation.

Bottle from Julio’s. Pours out a light orange-golden color. Frothy off-white head. Great yeast profile with this one. Herbal-spice-fruit notes. Dry finish. A very tasty triple.
