3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a rich golden color with a nice white head. Aroma starts with alcohol, wildflower honey, golden raisins and a sweet spicy note. Flavor is very sweet up front followed by a very light bitter note. Some yeasty esters make their way into the flavor. Not bad.

Bottle at the Brouwerij De Halve Maan on 12-08-10 (2,75 euro). Beautiful crystal clear amber color with thin lacy head. A bit of fruit and caramel in the nose. Full bodied and a bit dry. Very solid in bottle. ABV isn’t too apparent, really enjoyable triple. Smooth and very drinkable.

Pours golden orange with a medium white head and good retention. Floaties from the cold. Aroma of cloves, apples, white wine grapes, and yeast. Flavor is crisp and bubbly with candy sugar, alcohol and white wine w/o the tartness. Missing something and unbalanced, but couldn’t put my finger on it.

1.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle says nine degrees, yeah! Let me tell you, I am not civilized enough to rate this beer. Even my good pal Brian C who got this for me knows that; me and my lager loven palate are not geeky enough, heheh. So forget about my numbers, this stuff is quite on style, except perhaps does not hide the alky well. Filtered, looks like a darker pale lager, annulus for a head. Smells beldgy and sweet. Big old world euro belgium german something going on here. Decent CO2 for a blasting experience. Oily mouth coating nearly barley wine attitude. Big combine farmer ripping across my taste buds. I am not worthy of this kind of beer.

3.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from a 750 ml bottle a dark golden with a minimal white head. Aroma is sweet with hints of malt, vanilla, sugar, coconut. Flavor is nice and refreshing with notes of vanilla and malt. A somewhat light-bodied beer concidering its high ABV. A nice finish and lingering taste on palate.’

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sweet aroma. Pours Amber-gold with a sudsy off-white head that fades to a thin layer. Very sweet and malty with a hint of spices and banana. The alcohol is definitely noticable.
