Bottle. Pours clear golden with a thick foamy head. Malty aroma. Some sweetness in the taste, caramel, medium bitterness, soft touches, noticable alcohol. Decent and indeed a bit "straf".

The aroma has light malts, some herbs and even candy (I could say apple too). It appears dark golden with a (very) long lasting white head. Tastes bitter up until the aftertaste but the malts compensate for that. A full body, oily texture and soft carbonation. The alcohol only pops in after a few sips. A very decent Belgian tripel.

This was a nice golden color with a thick and lacy head that lasted throughout the glass. Lightly malty with a fruity aroma and a very slightly bitter aftertaste. This was a nicely balanced experience. Not too bitter, too fruity, too anything. Just a nice glass of beer.

Buona birra in classico stile belga, pienamente rispettato. Potenti aromi caramellati, accompagnati da una discreta luppolatura floreale donano a questa birra equilibrio e beverinità nonostante l’elevato grado alcolico.

Bottle to tulip Aroma of yeast, wheat, lemon, malt, cookies, dark rum, juniper, and pepper. It’s a clear amber with plenty of small bubbles and a thick creamy off white head that reduces to about .5 cm and leaving nice lacing. Taste is oak, caramel, bread, dark rum and lots of late bitterness.

24.04.2014, 0,33l bottle @ BBGTC tasting:
Nice creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly fruity, dried fruits, yeast, banana, almond cake, hay, honey, caramel. Taste is slightly sweet and harsh, sugar, dried fruits, hay, grass, honey, cloves, almond essence, weeds. Medium bitterness, harsh mouthfeel. Fair enough.
