750 ml corked asnd caged bottle pour a clear tarnished gold with a lasting off white head. Aromas of straw, pineapple, light apple and light spice. Palate was medium bodied and crisp with a dry finish. Flavors of straw, bread, light fuittiness and hint of spice with a crisp dry finish.

Bottle. Pours hazy and full of chunks. Foamy white head and a malty aroma with notes of clove honey, and banana (but not strongly) . Sharper taste than you’d expect from a triple, with a little less sweetness than the aroma would suggest. Palate fairly bitter for a triple, and with a bit of a strange, almost solventy flavor. In view of other reviews of this beer I almost wonder if my bottle was spoiled.

Bottle:   Bright amber, strong carbonation, large fluffy white head, sticky lacing.   Yeasty nose, slight banana esters.   Seems like a German Wheat crossed with a Belgian of sorts.   Bright breadiness on the tongue, musty, yeasty, with a smidgen of that banana ester that I got on the nose.   Not bad at all, a little different.   A little airy on the tongue, smooth, body and mouthfeel are average.   Lingering yeastiness as well as this quasi banana and what is now a tropical fruit aspect.   Has a yeasty/barnish background, but this one isnt as floral or bright as other Tripels.   Seems decent enough tho, different from many others while remaining entertaining.

Thanks Armando 629!

0,33 l bottle,bought in Amsterdam.
Poured opalescent amber-orange with a small creamy off white head. Aroma of dried fruits, peach, raisins and coriander, fine alcoholic character, some overriped cheese, sourish spicies, vanilla. MMM! Medium bodied one, fruity tastes, more richer when the beer gets warmer. Vanilla, dried peach, coriander with a moderated hops. Little bit alcoholic but it does not hurt the palate, fine fruity aftertaste on the tongue. Well done, very good one!

750 ml. bottle. Vintage 2011. Pours a huge, fluffy, lasting white head, with typical "Belgian" lacing over a slightly hazy.light amber (SRM 7) body...nose is light clove, touch of allspice, hints of citrus.....taste is light malts with hints of citrus, bits of clove, allspice, hints of sweetness, finishing with a light spicy bitterness....mouth feel light, alcohol slightly noticeable carbonation adds a creamy tone. This meets the style quite well. It is not as richly complex as the best (Karmeliet), but it is quite good. BJCP 7/3/14/4/8

330 ml bottle picked up in Belguim and dragged back to Germany. Clear amber color with an off white head. Sweet aroma of honey, spices, caramel and citrus peel with notes of yeast. Flavor of caramel, spices, yeast and orange peel with notes of hops, alcohol metal. Hoppy, metal, spicy but harsh palate. Seems like drinking perfume.
