On tap. Pale clear yellow with thick frothy white head. Aroma of Belgian yeast, sweet fruits, and bubblegum. Love this. Light on the palate. Very refreshing and warms you up without noticing. Can’t believe the ABV on this one

On tap at Christian Firtal. Hazy dark golden with a lasting white head. Bright fruity aroma of peach and pineapple along with some cane sugar notes and a touch of alcohol. Sweet fruity flavour with some alcohol and a bit of hops in the finish.

Burnt orange pour, average white head. Aroma of aging fruit, yeast. Flavor is more of the same, strong spicy yeast, candied fruit. Bottle is past ’best by’ date, still quite good, will compare with fresh.

Bottle from Bruges. Pours clear amber with a big white head. Quite sweet at first with some caramel flavour. Some barnyard yeast notes in there too. The alcohol is pleasant and warming, but this is quite easy drinking and refreshing too. Good full mouthfeel from the carbonation. Very enjoyable.

Bottle from small grocery store in Bruges. Has a perfect white head, paired with a warm yellow, orange color. Yeasty, spicy aromas, floral notes, herbs, warm pleasant smell. Both color and aroma match perfectly well. Intense taste of yeast, which is big in this beer, but still goes along with a lot of spices, they add nice complexity. There is also hop, which adds a refreshing ending. Sweetness comes along with a pleasant pepperiness, while the high carbonation enhances the refreshing character. Nonetheless, the end is very smooth, with a dry mouthfeel. The bitterness in the end rounds up the very smooth overall taste of this beer, in which a spicy sweetness with a nice depth plays the mayor role. Very nice Tripel.

Dark golden coloured beer with a small but stable white head. Fresh fruity, yeasty and hoppy aroma. Flavour is fruity, very smooth, a bit sweet and a little bit of a bitter aftertaste. (Bottle 33cl)

Great beer! Sweet and sour aftertaste which is great! It’s quite heavy for a tripel, but I like it!

Bottle, Christmas gift from Tom. Hazy golden body with a thick white head. Lively carbonation. Excellent lacing. Aroma of salt, pear, white pepper and yeast. Flavour if hay, salt, caramel and slightly browned apple. Full body with a creamy mouthfeel. Soft carbonation. A well rounded Tripel that, for me, is a bit shy on the sharp, citrusy flavours. Reminds me of my honeymoon in Bruges seven months ago.
