11.2oz bottle in a Trappist glass. Pours amber with lots of yeast and a thick, light beige head. Aroma of spicy yeast, caramel malts, and floral hops. Flavor the same. Average texture. I hate when bottles have too much yeast visible in the beer.

Pours caramel orange with a medium sized light khaki head. Smells of light spices and mild fruits. Taste is sweet, spiced, and fruity. Medium-bodied with a smooth texture and fair amounts of mouth-carbonation, Straffe Hendrik Tripel finishes with hints of fruitiness and is a little sweet.

Pours clean gold with almost amber hues and two fingers of creamy white head. Violently effervescent carbonation. Nose shows a light candy-like quality and an ephemeral sweetness. Bready notes and a definitive yeasty quality. Flavor leans more towards raw bread dough and yeast. Light spicy phenolics and raw fruit. Very slight vegetal notes.

Bottle, thanks E for sharing. Orange amber with a small, spitty, off white head. Nose shows some dark fruits, bitter citrus, lightly cheesy, quite phenolic and estery--hints of vegetal. Flavor is okay--more vegetal than the nose, some estery sweetness, light banana, light bitter finish. Below average tripel, but not a style I drink a lot of these days.

Opaque golden colour with a small white head. Malt and citrus on the nose. Lots of fruit and caramel taste. Nice round moutfeel. Doesn’t taste like 9%! Delicious

Golden and light hazy colour with a small white head. Rich fruity aroma, over on the cider side. Lots of apples. This beer was maybee to cold in the beginning. Lots of apple flavour. But changed after a while as it got a little more room temperature. Then a soft vanilla and moderate sweet caramel flavour woke up. A lot better at right temperature.

Bottle at Brugs Beertje. Hazy amber with a stable head. Fruity aroma and bitter-sweet flavours. Solid tripel.
