Sampled from an 11.2 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark amber color with an enormous fluffy yellow-cream head that lingered and left great lacing. The aroma was sweet honey, table sugar, mixed ripe fruits, bread and pepper. The flavor was tart with a strong citric acid presence and notes of pear, apple, bread, honey and pepper and followed by a boozy element. Long finish of sugar, fruit, bread and a touch of sulfur. Medium body though a bit overcarbonated. Nice.

Delicious Tripel. Aroma of spicy clove esthers. Tastes of white grape juice with a coriander like spiciness. Very slight bitterness and a slight alcohol twang in the finish. Light body, medium carbonation. Very enjoyable beer.

On tap at hotel in Brugge - a solid golden beer, decent white head that didn’t last too long... blame the bartender for that... nose of herbs and citrus. Nice syrupy body, good aftertaste. Clean and refreshing.
