Clear golden, two finger white head. Smell fluffy, spicy belgian tripel. Taste light gum, banana, sweet coriander. Mid body Decent

Bottle from beer merchants.com. Not had this for a good decade or two and wow, it’s outstanding. Pours a beautiful burnished orange, with a thick white head. Sweet peach and apricot aroma, palate is creamy and thick with yeasty banana notes, more of the aforementioned fruit, some lightly chalky bitterness late on. Slightly medicinal, alcohol is well masked and for 7pm on a Saturday evening, this is going down far too easily! Fantadtic.

Big creamy white head; dark amber hazy body. Cookies, bread, smooth fruits, hops and coriander. Medium body, oily texture; balanced finish, bitter than the average belgian. Nicely balanced, bitter than the usual in the style; spicy, cookies, sugar. Nice.

0.75 bottle this time, shared with a friend. Pours hazy copper-orange with a nice thick and bubbly head. Aroma: super fruity. Fantastic mix of dried apricots, white peaches and some (sourish) pear. Really nice, like a fruit pie in a glass. Taste: once again, a full-on fruit assault! Dried apricots, peaches in syrup, sultana grapes..We really should come up with the name for those: pale fruits? white fruits? You know, as opposed to omnipresent ’dark fruits’. Overall taste is definitely on a sweet side of things, but thankfully, it is well balanced by finish. which is typically ’triple’, with herbal notes and subdued dry bitterness. An excellent and distinctive triple, which really opens up in a 0,75 bottle.

A hazy orange body is covered by a thin layer of white foam that laces nicely. The nose has raisins, yeast, malts, caramel, fruits and some floral notes. Taste is sweet with a mild dry aftertaste. The carbonation is very lively. Palate is rich and the alcohol warms your entire body. This is a nice one, especially good for warming you up during cold winter months.

sweet malty nose, fruity, apricot orange peel, alcohol, bread, citrus, light floral, dough, hazy golden, nice frothy white head, doesn’t stay long, some lacing, creamy and roasty sweetbitter, bit stingy, clove, ginger, alcohol, heavy body alcohol, lively carbo, dry sweetbitter creamy finish with spicy and fruity undertones
