Pours deep copper into a tulip. White head quickly recedes to hug rim. Sweet raisin toast aromas. Sweet caramel upfront turning to dry, warming pepper and vanilla-soaked pit fruit in the lasting finish.

330ml bottle. Gold with a disappearing fizzy off-white head. Some floating bits. Aroma is very sugary with oranges and dough. Sweet and fruity (apples, oranges, pears) with considerable doughy yeast and some cheese rind. Some flowers too. Restrained carbonation for the style. Fruit and spice finish has some bitterness. Well hidden alcohol. OK, and although it was well within date, probably not a very good bottle.

11.2 ounce bottle thanks to bvc. Pours a cloudy golden hue with a huge white fluffy head. The aroma is sweet honey and pure malts. A sweet and spicy concoction; banana esters, pepper, lemon, citrus, sweet honey malts, very drinkable. A very good triple.

Bottle - 330ml. Superb hazy golden body with a thick off-white foamy head. Good hoppy aroma with grainy and grassy hints. Very well balanced malty/hoppy taste. It hides the alcohol very well and carries herbal and honeyish notes. Ends with a warming bittersweet finish. Very enjoyable Tripel.

What an incredible Triple. It has all of the usual suspects present but with the added bonus of a caramel malt flavor. Delicious.

Served in a westmalle chalice. Amber color with nice head that dissipates quite quickly leaving a very nice lacing. Hoppy smell with hint of sweet flowers, pungent alcohol flavor, that leaves a lasting hoppy flavor. Nice texture. Can wait to try it again for a re-review. Serving type: bottle
