Fles gedeeld met rikmeister. Zoetige, fruitige geur. Citrusvruchten aanwezig. Vooral Mango. Donker oranje kleur. Vrij stevige Body. Eerst zoet, met een klein zuurtje. Licht bittere afdronk. Heerlijk biertje.

Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 26C). Bottle 33 cl - Batch unknown. AROMA: predominant spicy aroma with clove-like and banana notes and slight solventy aroma. slight sweet malt background. belgian lace formation. APPEARANCE: deep gold color and translucent. persistant medium-high moussy white head. TASTE: medium-low peppery phenol flavor with a very faint orange note. slight sweet neutral malt background. medium-high bitterness with a dry and bitter finish. PALATE: medium body with a slight velvety texture, high carbonation with a soft alcohol warming sensation. OVERALL: a good and traditional belgian tripel that would benefit form more yeast produced esters.

Bouteille 33 cl - odeur fuité, fruit jaune, belle couleur or avec de fines bulles comme du champagne, mousse trés abondante et persistante, goût sur l’abricot, la prune, le houblon frais, une excellente biére

0.33 bottle. A hazy, dark amber color with a huge, off-white head. Aroma is floral, yeasty, and fruity - good but not exactly strong. A lightly sweet, somewhat sour taste of fruits and yeasts. A medium body, a creamy texture, and a lively to fizzy carbonation. Finish is medium long, somewhat off - too sour/bitter. Overall not a bad beer but I definitely expected something better given its renown.

Pours caramel brown. The head is small and white. Nose is a little fruity but also has strong alcohol notes. Fizzy palate. Good and strong. A little warming.

Gehad van vat. Smaak is zoet met een heel zacht bittertje en enigszins alcoholisch. In mijn herinnering is hij op fles wat pittiger en daardoor beter. Goede doordrinker, mss ietsjes limonaderig.

This isn’t the best Tripel I’ve had but certainly one of the better ones. The aroma is kind of weak and consists of honey, light hops and some fruit. Pours a beautiful amber amber color with a tight white head. Flavors of honey, pear, apricot, caramel and maybe some spices. Highly carbonated with a dry finish.

Bottle from the Wellington Arms, Bedford. Honey gold with a small ring of white head and reasonable carbonation. Intensity of candy sugary yeast, buttered toast, and uncooked dough. Sweet, yeasty sugary taste with a surprisingly dry aftertaste. Shortbread in the finish. Incredible.
