Brown with a thin head. Oak-aged most on Bordeaux barrels and some on cognac, then blended. Nose is cognac and coffee, woody vanilla. Rich and winey, perhaps a bit confused whether it’s beer or wine? Dark caramel with a light meaty touch and a sweetish finish.
