Best before May 4, 2020. This pours a hazy peach colour with a magnificent and long lasting head of foam. Lacing? Do you have to ask. lol. The smell is Belgian yeasty with quite a bit of Brett. Spicy, with a notable presence of bitterness.(150 IBUs!) Nice spicy notes from mild clove and coriander and pepper, it embraces the Brett at a delightful level. Earthy, light hints of fruit, mild candi sugar sweetness. Finishes on the bitterish and dry side. Fairly lively carbonation to go with the medium body. Easy drinking as the abv is well hidden. A very well brewed Tripel!

Bottle. Nice tripel with peaches and grapes in aroma, plus funky brett notes. In taste little sour, with funky notes too. Tart finish. Medium body, fizzy carbonation. Nice one.

Bottle. I am guessing it is too young. Let’s see. Slightly bretty. orvalesque nose, some grassy hops, very nice nose. Like a 4 month Orval. Deep hazy gold, ubbbly, low fine head. Brtty flavor, funky, grassy, hoppy, witnsweet malts. This is like a 9% Orval. I love it. Will try it again in 6 months.

Bue en bouteille de 33cl. 2014 : blonde, fine mousse blanche. Arôme de grain, d'alcool, de levures sauvages. Bel équilibre. Belle corpulence.

Opaque light gold, medium white head. Sour, funky hay and farmyard aroma. Mellowing caramel with definite grassy-spicy notes, and an underlying layer of Brett funk. Finishes warming and dry. Wonderful.

Light yeasty aromas. Beautiful glowing orange with nice frothy head. Smooth opening transitions to a refreshing funk then get a warm spice to the finish.

Bottle. Hazy golden body with a low lasting white head. Malty aroma with mild funk notes, herbal hops, taste of biscuit, citrus, tart towards the finish. Crisp dry citric aftertaste. Quite nice.

transparent gold, lasting thin white cap. Yeasty with light green counterpart, dusty vegetal with bits of playdoh. Heavy sugar front palate contrasts immediately, peppery esters growing as contrast, frothy and thick through green, sugary end, a bad marriage of attempt-at-wild, adherence to estery yeast, and under-attenuation, hot and medicinal if that wasn’t enough.

11.2 oz bottle - pours a vibrant gold with thick fluffy white head . Barnyard aroma . Typical Trippel flavor with a mild tart note and funky finish . Solid . ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
