COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Right to Brew Series. Itís a big, complex Belgian Style beer at 10% ABV. Rich malty sweetness up front along with dark, fruity esters and spicy notes. Low bitterness and medium body in this one, which finishes with a smooth alcohol warmth. There is only a Ĺ bbl of this available, so get there early or you might miss out on this one!

Pours clear mahogany with a fairly thick and rather fine-bubbled light tan head. Aroma has roast malt, caramel, nutty, and subtle cloves tones. Flavor delights and teases the palate with caramel, fruity, malty, nutty and cloves tones. Smooth texture has good viscosity and subtle fizz, leaving a fruity and spicy finish. One helluva good beer - too bad this is so limited.

Bottle. Deep maroon color, bright beige head. Aroma of prunes, plums, raisins. Taste has sweet port wine, dark winter fruit. Alcohol is warming but not overwhelming. Very tasty beer on a cold winterís night. My 100th quad rating.

Draft at the brewery. Pours clear burgundy brown with a fizzy off white head. Tastes like roasted malt, sweet syrup, apple, raisin, booze. Light body and low carbonation. Smells like alcohol, light raisin, and burnt malt.

Draft. Ruby/brown with a thin beige head. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, and some fruit esters (raisins). Medium/heavy body with syrupy sweetness upfront, some chocolate, fruit, and malt notes with a dry finish. Unusual for a Quad.

12 oz on tap. Uncloudy mahogany with a ruby tint and a lasting ring of cream. Mild nose of dark fruit and toffee with some dark toast. Tastes of dark toffee, red grapes, and occasional disconcerting hints of organ meat and charred popcorn. Medium body is a little too fizzy in the mouth but somehow still manages to become slightly sticky. The abv showed only a touch.

Deep toffee colored pour. Brilliant. Small off-white head. Little bit of lacing. Aroma of malt and raisins. Sweet malty flavor with some hints of dark fruit and yeast. Slight bitterness. Pretty tasty.

Drank a bottle of this by myself on an empty stomach. Hid me a bit hard. Amateur move on my part. Poured dark for a Quad. Tan head. Scent is grapes and candy. Flavor is nice mix of sweet and bitter. Thickish and lightly carbonated. Bottle - Filet & Vine - Montgomery, AL

Donít remember who brought out this one......But clear deep amber brown color with a small dissipating white head. Sweet Belgian yeast, nuts, plum and fig aroma with some toast. Similar in flavor with no real body or complexity. Not that great, I also hate this style.
