COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Lily Flagg Milk Stout is named for Huntsville’s most famous quadruped. A prize cow owned by local plantation owner Samuel B. Moore, Lily Flagg was honored as one of the world’s best butterfat producers in 1892 at an exposition in Chicago. This dark, rich beer contains tons of roasted malt goodness, hints of chocolate and coffee and a creamy mouth feel from the addition of milk sugars during the brewing process.

12oz can pours a watery brown with some cloudy, off white head. Nose has celery, stale bread, malt, a little dusty closet. Flavor has celery and green bell pepper. Watery finish. Odd.

When you are the moon the best form you can be is a full moon, eehh… and then a half moon he’s alright, but the full moon is the famous moon and ehh… like three quarters no one gives a shit about him, when does he come? Like two days into the calendar month? He’s useless. Full moon. The moon, The main moon.

Poured from a can, heavy carbonation, light brown head, immediately catch the coffee and dark chocolate aromas. A bit thin but rich chocolate burnt coffee flavors with a hop bite at the finish. Decent session stout.
