3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
12oz can, no date but told it was around 2 weeks old. Served at around 40F.
Pours lightly hazy amber with a huge foamy off-white head that eventually recedes to a small foamy cap and leaves some clumpy lacing behind. Had to pour this in multiple stages due to the excessive carbonation/head.
Aroma is a big citrus blast, mostly orange, sweet pink grapefruit, a bit floral and piney, some yeasty/bready and caramel notes as well. Very good strength.
Flavor is strong citrus hops, orange, tangerine and grapefruit, some pine, a bit of caramel/bready malt in the middle offering just a bit of sweetness, finishes with strong bitterness and a tiny bit of alcohol. Malt picks up a bit as it warms.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied, a bit oily, very sharp, strong carbonation.
Very nice IPA. Extremely citrusy which I love. The yeasty notes in the aroma and extreme carbonation knock it down a peg, but still very enjoyable overall.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Sweet, fruity apa aroma with a touch of vanilla or chocolate. †Almost clear, if not, hard to tell in a frosty pint. †A bit candied, not hugely bitter, woody, tannic, well-balanced with some cakes qualities. †Medium heavy, pithy body. †Long hoppy finish with some cocoa and alcohol bitterness in the aftertaste. † Enjoyable, and not over the top. †Mellow Mushroom, Auburn.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Tap. Clear, deep golden amber with a rich, earthy aroma. Full, strong flavor just slightly bitter with a mild sour orange taste; but slightly sweet at the same time. A bit hoppy. Effervescent and full in the mouth. Nice aftertaste. Holds up well to spicy food. Very nice beer.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Draft at the Pine Bar. Pours amber/orange with thin, bubbly white head. Aroma of light floral notes. Taste has strange bite not from the hops. Maybe skunky. Would like to try again.

UPDATED: JUN 29, 2012 Update: March 2012 Some from a fresh Keg... incredible head... not to much, but keeps giving. Sweet bitterness... goes deep into throat, enjoyable. Bitter right on though. Happy this is made in town, Iíve found a beer of choice for local. Rating increase .4 points more aroma and hops. Original: Sept 2011: I really like this. And its from huntsville! And applies to the space program. Citrus floral smell very strong... nice just to sniff. Not bitter just hoppy. Wonderful! Nice job guys... after huntsville beer week, this one is on top for me. Slight watery flavor builds over time. Still a nice beer. June 2012. After trying many IPAs the aroma is really perfect. Overall this is moving up to an 18. Its one of the best IPAís out there as I like a citrus IPA. Taste is up to a 9. Yes its that good guys. PLEASE PLEASE PLEase Donít start to cut corners for profit. This is what you need to sell right now! Donít change

On tap at the nook. Pours orangish with a white had that leaves a fair amount of lacing in the glass. A bit of citrus on the tongue. A bit of bitterness on the tongue. Finishes clean. Meh.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
Draft at J Clyde, Birmingham AL: Whole orange and cranberry nose. Copper, thin head. Drinks like it smells with a stupid amount of orange peel. Soft, cask-like carbonation, but a little hot. fruity and different. I couldnít believe this is an IPA. Unique.
