Can. Light golden with small white head. Aroma of malt and butter notes. Some malt sweetness upfront, nut notes, and some hop bitterness. Not their best offering.

On tap. Lightly hazy golden with a lasting creamy film. Nose is caramel and dry grass. Taste is buttery toffee with dry grass and a touch of lemon. Medium body is balanced, smoothly carbonated and lightly tingly, Not much of a kolsch per traditional style, but it tastes and drinks OK.

Can. Yellow color, medium head, a little lace. Rather bad beer. Does not taste like a "German Ale". Taste is way too bitter. Aroma is straw and hay.

Can from epic tasting in late August. This came after a long day of big impy stouts and was somewhat of a palate cleanser and worked pretty well at that. Chewy toasty grain flavors. Aroma and finish is slight lemon citrus. Nice summery brew.

Can. Pours foggy with no head. Smell was grains/hay. Taste was more grains with some light fruity notes of mixed cocktail with medium light sweetness. Certainly drinkable.

Can. Pours hazy gold with a medium, frothy white head, short retention with good lacing. Aroma is Pils and cracker malt, light earthy and spicy hops, and lemon notes. Flavor is crisp malt, light hops and bitterness, lightly tart and a dry finish. Light body and moderate carbonation with some carbonic bite.

Gold, clear. Loose white head. Smells grainy, spicy. Taste is grainy, spicy, as well. Some hop bitterness in the finish. Seems a little too bitter, actually, for a Kolsch, Some stale notes, too.

A very excellent American take on a great German beer. Nice head with light lacing, very descriptive light nose with somewhat nutty notes. I got a grain like first take, nutty, with a very clean finish. Light-medium body with lighter carbonation is refreshing, perfect for summer!
