(33cl bottle) Clear, bright amber colour with a light-beige, medium sized frothy head. Light-sweet and mildly toasted malty nose with sour dough, subtle fruity notes and shy herbal hops and a tinge of metal. Bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, slightly crispy mouthfeel. Aromatic malt profile with nutty and delicately fruity elements; slightly hoppy finish with notes of toffee in the aftertaste (17.IX.08).

A bit of toast and biscuit aroma with considerable noble hops. Bright walnut with an almost white, lacy cover. Flavour is a bit biscuity with some sweet malt and nice hops flavour. Moderate bitterness. Also a bit nutty. Medium body, moderate carbonation, almost clean.

Medium-bodied, pleasantly malty with a shy fruity touch and flavours of caramel and roasetd malt. Well-rounded by a good portion of Saaz hops, which results in a dry finish with some malty notes.

(6/28/08) Draught at a blind tasting at Modrý Abbé in Klatovy. Clear amber color with an off-white, slightly creamy, head. Aroma of malt. light toasted malt and caramel notes. Sweetish caramelly flavor with hints of toasted bread and a drier finish with hints of metal. Medium-bodied. 5/4/6/3/11=2.9
