Draught at Modry Abbe. Blind tasting No.8. Reddish amber with white head. Hoping for more with this one but i got an overwhelming vanilla note with a sweet body. Some late malty, fruity notes, but ruined by early struggle with the beer.

Draught at Na Sumave, Prague. Clear deep golden beer with a nice offwhite head. Grassy hop aroma, herbal, hay, some bready notes. Hoppy roasted flavor, caramel, hay, bready, some citrus. Hoppy caramel finish with spices and a decent bitterness.

Draught (@ Modé Abbé, Klattau and Zlý Časy, Prag): Light amber coloured, firm, little off-white head; hops, pale malt and molecular traces of metal in the nose; light bodied, light to medium sweet-bitter flavour; bitterness and dark-malty sweetness in the finish. Good, not great Polotmavé pivo.............

(33cl bottle) Clear, bright amber colour with a light-beige, medium sized frothy head. Light-sweet and mildly toasted malty nose with sour dough, subtle fruity notes and shy herbal hops and a tinge of metal. Bitter-sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, slightly crispy mouthfeel. Aromatic malt profile with nutty and delicately fruity elements; slightly hoppy finish with notes of toffee in the aftertaste (17.IX.08).

bottle, bought at the brewery. Clear amber colour with a lovely red glow, medium-sized creamy beige head. Malty nose. Medium-bodied, pleasantly malty with a shy fruity touch and flavours of caramel and roasetd malt. Well-rounded by a good portion of Saaz hops, which results in a dry finish with some malty notes.
