Bottle from Bierland, pours espresso brown with a medium sized cafe-crema coloured head, nose is roast coffee, prunes, a little cocoa. Rich bodied, initially roast malt and coffee, then a sweetish fruity mid-body with sultana and toffee notes, and finally a dry-sweet and faintly hoppy finish with a hint of cocoa. The aftertaste is a little too syrupy, but the edge of burnt treacle and an emerging hop bitterness cuts it reasonably well.

bottle, danke an pivnizub. Deep brown colour, large and creamy beige head. Looks and smells like a Baltic Porter. Full-bodied, dark chocolatey flavours with raisins, caramel, cocoa, bitter chocolate... Not too sweet, perfectly balanced and very velvety on the palate. Delicious!

Bottle: Deep ruby-amber coloured, stable and lacy creamy off-white head, molasses, dried fruits and dry toasted malt in the complex nose; moderate dryish bitter-sweet flavour, medium to full bodied; lingering toasty-nutty finish, drier in the bitter-malty aftertaste. Very good Bock…

Bottled. Dark brown colour with pale brown head. Vegetables in aroma, like green pepper along with sewer. Chocolate dominates the flavour, after is sewer, then there is chocolate again all the way to the end. Soft and medium big mouthfeel with low bitterness. Very one-dimensional.
