COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This is what we had intended to brew when we made Genesis. Serving as our flagship ale, 24th Street Pale contains exactly the same hops but is less malty than Genesis which leads to less masking of the hop profile. It’s a smooth little Pale with a bitter finish. Slightly floral, slightly fruity. It is dry and drinks quickly.

Poured a coper color from the bottle aromas of pine resin, light floral hops and some malt. Flavors are the same, mostly resin, solid beer overall.

Bottle from Plumpjack Noe. Pale ale, just another beer, right? Sometimes you get a good one though. Perfect appearance, clear deep copper with lively bubbles, a lasting off-white head, and great lacing. Great balanced aroma with pine and grapefruit complementing floral notes and caramel. Dry flavor with big hops balancing out the caramel/bready base. Hoppy, fruity, floral flavor. Nice clean but resinous mouthfeel. Really excellent pale ale. Stands out within its style.

500 ml bottle. Pours a copperish reddish orange with a small white head. Aroma has some very faint hop notes mostly floral. Flavor is mildly bitter with a bit of oxidation and a bit of diacetyl. Medium bodied, slightly below average carbonation. Finishes kind of butterscotchy and flowery. There’s potential here but they need to figure out the diacetyl/ oxidation problems.

I had this on cask at Blue Palms’ Second anniversary party. It’s a nicely done pale with good citrus hops and a malty aroma

Sample. Rating #12. I found this pale ale to be really outstanding, nice balance with a real nice hop profile. (1754)

On tap at Beachwood BBQ. Clear dark amber with a one finger creamy light light beige head, pretty good retention. Weak aroma, and definitely not served cold. Pine hops and a lot of toasty caramel. Flavor adds some diacetyl and stronger caramel, bordering on being scorched. Semi-dry with bitterness at a 3. Light carbonation with a medium body. OK.
