Another fine imperial IPA. Flavorful but not overpowering at 8.5 ABV. Limited release is fun while it lasts. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Thx to probably ferris. Think I had this at ferfies as idid t put a date on the review that I just found. Probably the night where ferfies old ass dog kept knocking over my awesome beers. First sip and taste tell me that this is pretty lame. Soap candies. Not cool. Citrus nose. Distracted. Taste is off with the soap. Lightly grassy, caramel, pine and random citrus. Not overly harsh. Disappointing even though I had no idea what this was supposed to be.

I absolutely love this beer. It is one of my favorite imperial IPAs ever. I've drank it next to a Pliny and choose this one every time. As long as it's fresh. I think everyone that gives this beer a bad rating must have had an old one. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from a 500ml bottle, thanks to Mike. The aroma is grassy, slight vegetal, harsh hop character. The flavor slight citrus, harsh bitter, slight tartness, grassy, off hop character. This is a great hoppy mess.

500 ml bottle from bevmo. Pours a translucent copper color with a big off-white head that has good retention. The aroma is medium in strength with pine, grapefruit, something floral and caramel. The taste is bitter hops forward with lots of pine, some mixed tropical fruits and a bit of caramel. The palate was full and smooth with lively carbonation. Finished long and harshly bitter. Overall: A decent brewski, but the bitterness was a tad harsh.

Bottle from Craft Shack. Pours translucent light orange amber with a slight beige head. Aroma is mixed pine/caramel. Full bodied. Flavor is caramel, pine/resin and citrus and fruit. It has a bitchin hop burn. Yet itís not harsh like the NW monsters. Which I prefer, but to everything there is a season. Season, not saison. Itís good ale!

6 July 2012, bottle. yellow/orange, faintly cloudy, steady bubbles, thick foamy head. nose is lemon, champaign (maybe just champaign yeast), dry grass. thin body and moderately fizzy. tastes of bitter grass stem and some lemon rind. nothing as robust as the nose, sadly.
