Another fine imperial IPA. Flavorful but not overpowering at 8.5 ABV. Limited release is fun while it lasts. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sweet, fruity aroma with caramel, citrus, and cherry. Flavor starts with sweet malt and finishes with fruit bitterness. With the heavy malt character this is almost more like an ESB or English style IPA, but in any case this is a really good beer.

Large grapefruit, lemon and slight resiny aftertaste. The taste is really drinkable and totally a summer beer.

500 ml bottle. 8.5%. From alesbymail.co.uk. From my advent calendar door #24. Cloudy amber colour with a small frothy off-white head. Resiny hops, moderate bitterness and sweet caramel malt in the aroma. The flavour is strong resiny hops, bitterness, sweetness, mild malt and some herbal notes. Quite easy. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From a 50 cl bottle shared at home. Pours a hazy copper with an off white head. Fruity nose. Flavors of grass and citrus. Bitter finish.

Hazy amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry, good minerally carbonation. Airy malt, light sweetness, trace of cream. Hops start pretty skunky but tempered by pine and tropical fruits. Zingy orange, lemon and lime. Airy finish with a bitterish tropical fruit linger. Delicious and drinkable.

(bottle) clear light amber colour with a small white head; aroma of stewed fruit, pine, then tropical fruit; balanced flavour with a long light bitter finish, bit light and austere for the style

Thx to probably ferris. Think I had this at ferfies as idid t put a date on the review that I just found. Probably the night where ferfies old ass dog kept knocking over my awesome beers. First sip and taste tell me that this is pretty lame. Soap candies. Not cool. Citrus nose. Distracted. Taste is off with the soap. Lightly grassy, caramel, pine and random citrus. Not overly harsh. Disappointing even though I had no idea what this was supposed to be.

I absolutely love this beer. It is one of my favorite imperial IPAs ever. I've drank it next to a Pliny and choose this one every time. As long as it's fresh. I think everyone that gives this beer a bad rating must have had an old one. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
