Pint at the brewery. Looks very IPA like: orange, tall head. Grapefruit is apparent in the nose, but not out of hand. It could almost pass for hops, but had that fresh fruit quality to it. The palate is medium and works well. Hops donít full develop, but add plenty of bite. They meld very well with the grapefruit flavor. The finish is drying, but also a little sugary in natural way. Definitely solid.

Bomber into a glass. Slightly cloudy gold pour. Persistent bubbly white head. Aroma is bitter grapefruit rind with a slight grassiness. Taste is lightly fruity. Grapefruit taste is very light. Bitter, grassy. Slight phenols. Not a great IPA. Not a great citrus IPA. Just middle of the road on both sides.

Had on draft while waiting for a flight with breakfast. There is a pleasant aroma of fresh fruit, rind, a hint of malt. The flavor is grapefruit, citrusy hops, light malts. Love beer with breakfast.

after the sculpin grapefruit this held no comparison. sampler from a bomber it poured a light brown orange color. you could get a grapefruit aroma but it was mild..medium malt backbone and some citrus hops. this was the bomb of the night no offense just didnít hold up to the best of the rest.

Type: 16-oz. draft Glass: Large snifter From: Tap n Handle in Fort Collins, Colo. Price: $5.00 Purchased: April 18, 2015 Consumed: April 18, 2015 Misc.: N/A Poured a caramel, semi-clear color with two fingers of frothy, white head when I got it. Nice circular spotty lacing on the sides of the glass. Above average retention. (Sight - 4.13) Smelled Citra, caramel, light grapefruit and buttery malts. (Smell - 3.75) Tasted similar to the nose, getting those buttery malts, veggies, Citra, sharp grapefruit, some floral hops with a bitter finish. (Taste - 3.50) Medium body. Oily-to-creamy texture. Average carbonation. Long, bitter finish. (Feel - 3.38) Just not that good overall and I regret even getting it when there were so many good beers there. Bitterness just dominated the palate. Not close to balanced at all. (Overall - 3.50) 3.57 81 B

The blurb said there was a "citrus hop bomb" in this IPA. More like a damp firecracker. New Belgium has recently come out with their Slow Ride IPA. Now THERE is some grapefruit. Disappointing.

22 oz bottle. Pours slightly hazy golden orange with a big creamy white head that retains well and leaves some lacing.

The aroma is huge grapefruit and piney, resiny hops.

The flavor is some sweet bready malt and fruit with grapefuit, pine and resiny hops with decent bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium to full bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, a nicely balanced IPA with lots of fruit and grapefruit and big piney resiny hops.

Golden and effervescent. Very grapefruity in the aroma and the flavor. Pungent with a light grassy finish.
