Think cherry pie in a glass. Think cherries picked from the tree. Not a sour lambic, this Belgian Blonde Ale has so many cherries crammed into every glass even the foamy head is red. A cherry cherry lover’s dream come true. Goes great with dark chocolate, with fudge brownies, with chocolate gateau, with cacao nibs, with... well, you get the picture. And did we mention cherries?

gold at WBC. Can’t see that as it was clearly #2 of 2 in class on the night. Flavor and feel are nice, but nothing that stand out in style. Taste is cherry pie with a light tartness. Nose, though pleasant, was pretty weak.

Somewhere between a 2 and 4oz bottle pour at SAVOR 2015’s Saturday night session. Poured a hazy red color with a small off-white head. Aroma was cherry, sweet malts. Tart fruits, cherry notes. Light floral notes.

Good, but sweet

Tap. It’s really sweet, like sticky sweet... almost medicinal cherry flavor. I’d assume that this is a hit with those that like alcohol with their sugar.

On tap at Colorado Brewers Fest in July. Appearance: finger of pinkish head, red copper color, clear. Aroma: apple and cherry dominate, light yeasty tart. Palate: light body, lively carbonation, dry, thin. Taste: sweet fruit into a light tart, with a light malty sweetness holding down the fort. Overall, I think my favorite at the event! Very nice beer.

Very authentic cherry flavor. Pretty sweet. Think lindemans framboise and replace the framboise with cherry. Slightly less sweet. But still sweet. Good with a slight tart finish. Nice beer but would like some acidic sour to this one. Could not drink much. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Taster. 4.7% ABV per the sign at the Rendezvous. Pours a medium, well retained, pink head, over a red (SRM 20) body.....nose is sour cherry, light malts, minimal hops, balance to the cherries......taste is moderately sweet, mildly sour, heavy cherry throughout, no hops.....mouth feel medium body, sticky, slight acid tingle. This is without a doubt a simple and sweet fruit beer. It may be a different recipe from that described because the ABV is a smidgen lower. A little more sourness would be welcome and increase the complexity and bring greater balance. BJCP 7/3/10/4/6
